Please post them it's always encouraging to see even the tiniest of payments and gives people ideas about how they can make even further payments towards their debts. I seem to remember someone started doing the £1 a day to Next because I was paying £1 a day to my c/c (sorry forgotten who that was, it was about 10 pages or so ago *sniggers*)
That's me!!!
I'm still going! I try to post every day, but sometimes I'm not near my puter.....October make £10/day currently £11.020 -

Then again, I've lived in some rather grimy parts of Swansea too, and areas that look bad aren't always the worst places to live.
*coughs* I live near one of those place (not Merthyr obviously :rotfl:) everywhere has its bad places. Caerphilly has a castle but Ponty has the shopping!
Sorry jakes-mum Clarks pies mean nothing to me either but that's cos I don't like pies or pasties. And I've lived in the valleys for a big part of my lifeGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

I know, I cannot wait until I hit that 50% mark, I feel like I've been treading water a bit for the last couple of months but I haven't! Should be at 51% on next payday and I'm soooo excited. We're getting there hun! xxx
It really amazes me how much I used to look forward to payday to be able to buy stuff, but now I look forward to making credit card payments! How quickly things change *tries to look pensive, pretending to be old and wise*On a debt free note, I now feel a little bit stuck with my debt busting.... I have no idea how to reduce my OD without incurring a charge of £25 each time which I obviously don't want so trying to work out how I can overpay to that now? Maybe I need to filter money into a savings account until it equals the same as the OD? Or pray for a winfall *sniggers* The DCA can still receive their nominal amount each month as they don't charge me interest. Any hints or tips for the OD welcomed.
Your bank actually charge you £25 to reduce your limit! That's unbelievable and should be against the rules *makes mental note to write to MP*. Could you set up a pretend limit in your head or on a spreadsheet, so that although your real limit is £1000 you actually only use up to £900, then the next month you only use up to £800? If you don't have the willpower for that I'd go for the savings option.
I have had a good moment - just got paid £40 in amaz0n vouchers for a trial app download thing, and checked out £10 in sw*gbucks too, so a total of £50 to spend in amaz0n for my sister's birthday, father's day, and seen some cheap boxes on there for moving (how sad is it that my treat is buying cardboard boxes:rotfl:)
However, that is a little offset by sending my mum some flowers - she's proper stressed at the moment and (much as I love my siblings and step-dad) nobody else will think to get some for her. Did use a discount code tho, and I've taking in out of this week's spending money.:A If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right. William Shatner

Hi all, well I have done my PAD for the day and will post an update as suggested by Kerri. What I'm doing is rounding my current account down to the nearest £10. Yesterday I paid £3.14, today £2.79. All little amounts that if I was I town I probably wouldn't think twice about spending but then I never go into town anymore as I have had to ban myself:rotfl::rotfl:.
So without really missing it, I am now at #319 £3841.02/£6109.94
Kerri I moved from London to Devon for a boy when I was 19. Best thing I ever did, I love living here. Ok, so we split up and I ended up marrying his best friendbut now been here over 20 years.:D

I was only joshing about the parts of Wales that aren't so nice. Personally, I live in what is considered one of the good areas of mid Wales, and my opinions aren't particularly favourable.
Lived most of my adult life in South and West Wales, and I've not felt like I've lived in a bad area yet. No such things as bad towns really, just estates that aren't particularly good and this can affect the reputation of the town.
Apart from Maesteg of course.
I don't think I've ever had a Clarks pie, although in fairness I probably never pay attention on the branding at 3am. If you're in the llanelli area Jenkins' bakery is like a really nice bakery with prices not too far above Greggs.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Please could you all stop talking about pies now! Last time we had fish and chips they forgot to put my pie in, didn't notice til it was too late, still trying to get over the trauma. Honestly, that kind of therapy should be funded by the NHS :rotfl:Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020
