I've just realised that the total of all of my payments since the start of this challenge is almost £40,000!!! :eek: (that includes the wedding and a few other purchases though, hence no debt reduction to that degere ) x

Hi gang! So sorry I haven't posted for ages. Work has been crazy mad and they have also blocked all forum access. So I have to try and elbow DH off the computer in order to update, not an easy task. However I do get the daily digest on my email that I read on my blackberry every day so I'm with you in spirit even if I'm not posting.

Anyway after lovely holiday in September debt busting sort of feel by the wayside a little. DH finally got round to selling some of his keyboard collection on ebay (he wants to be the next Jean Michelle Jarre!) but instead of using it to pay the cc we spent it on a new TV for the bedroom and some other bits and bobs we wanted. Including getting his fish tank up and running properly.

I've now tried 3 times to sell my Wedgewood on ebay but it hasn't happened. I even split it down into batches of plates, bowls etc.

On the plus side no additional debt has been incurred. But instead of ending the year with £3000 on the card we still have£4404.56. I'm hoping that we both get annual bonuses again in March and this might clear a lot. But I would like to sign up for next year, because once "my" debt is cleared then we have the massive personal loan to do. I know that won't be cleared in a year but I'd like the incentive to carry on.

In other news DH is feeling a lot better he's been having more and more tests but it looks a lot like most of his troubles were caused by the GP taking him off a drug that is considered essential for post heart attack patients. He is now back on that, so apart from being a bit nocturnal he seems on the mend.
