That's great! :j I'm so hoping I can get under £1k after December payday (20th). This last bit seems to be taking forever. Mind you if it wasn't for Christmas I could have paid off a nice big chunk. I feel I'm wishing my life away waiting for each payday. JUST WANT TO BE FREE OF THIS DEBT!!!!!!
MM
I do know what you mean! I feel like I've been stuck in a rut for ages, but the expenses just keep coming. Getting closer though, and I don't mind that I'm still in debt, as I know it's going in the right direction.
Spagbol it will be lovely if you carry the challenge forward, but so much work! If you need help, let us know!
A bit more bank nonsense today, they said I could reduce all or nothing, so I went for all - I have cleared my first overdraft!!! I still have a couple more presents to buy this week, but if I manage to get to the end of the week with £65 left, I will be able to make 75%!
Works Christmas do tonight - I couldn't find anything in the charity shops to wear, so I was a bit naughty and bought a few new tops for <£15 each. Whichever ones I don't wear are going back on Monday though. There will be a free bar for the first hour or so, so will stock up early (but drink slowly of course :A)0 -

Hiya Spagbol. I just wanted to say that I'd be honoured if you'd take over the thread for 2013. I know it has helped so many people to change their lives for the better. I want to pass it on to someone that I know will do a much better job of running it than me as I have been struggling with time. I feel both honoured and humbled to share this journey with such amazing people. I'll still be around though as I save for my house deposit! I'll pm you tomorrow with the excel spreadsheet Pedro set up as it's fab! Looking forward to the final scores at Xmas Eve finale then it's over to you missy XxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
Debt at Highest: £43,073 :eek:0 -
Just spent £247 in Mr T's and now need to go and lie in a darkened room  Apart from bread, milk and some veggies this should take us through to the end of December and that included gifts and booze but even so :eek::eek:
:eek::eek: indeed! I have to do my Sainsbugs shop (online) today for delivery on Saturday next, I'm hoping that as I have been buying bits slowly over the last few months, that it won't be *too* hideous.
Oh, and to add, I'm in for 2013. I'm joinig the POAMAYC in 2013 challenge too, as there are a few long haulers like me on there too, and the more encouragement I can get, the better frankly!, but would like to stick around here. :-)Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0 -

Crikey, I'm not very technically minded...will just have to do my best and if I can't keep up we'll all just have to update our own signatures and ignore the front pageThanks though for everything Jemma and will look forward to the spreadsheet :T

We could all migrate I suppose if we agree to all go to POAMAYC2013 it might be a good alternative? What does everyone think?DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -

I think we need a separate thread for those wanting to pay it all off by Christmas 2013. What do others think?DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off
