Just needed to share this...we've spent about £4k on interest this year!! And that's without even starting to think about mortgage interest!!

I can't believe how stupid we've been. So pleased I had my LBM last year! I'm just off to bang my head against the wall repeatedly :D :wall: :rotfl:

Yes but the important thing is you have had you LBM, many others don't!

Jemma only just realised you mentioned me in your uber-post. The dates with the guy won't be carrying on. He was lovely but he 'doesn't know what he wants' :( Why are you on a dating site if you say that??

But yes, thanks for the words of encouragement, next task is to save up 2.5k so I can blast 2 old CC :D:D

Well done to everybody else for their debt busting antics :D
    In debt no more!

Hi Jemma - thanks for asking about the car - its actually like a different car since the breakdown in Wigan, I have realised that the clutch must have been rough since i bought it, only I'm such a plank I just thought it was like that because it was a tiny little car.

I had a lovely spa day with a friend on my birthday last weekend (massive treat as it cost £50), but we got a whole day with the facilities, 1.5 hours treatment, plus a 2 course lunch with a glass of wine, and it made me feel so much better, and I got lots of time to think. I've decided to make some changes, and getting rid of lots of debt means now I can do it. So next year this is what I'm going to do:

    1) Buy a house - I do have some secret savings, plus my mum owes by £4k, and I have a guaranteed bonus coming in February, so its all going on a house

    2) Get a job nearer to home - I do over 2 hours commuting which could be spent with the children and no 3:

    3) Start an online business - I have already bought the website name and think I have a great idea.

Its all down to getting my !!!!!! together, you've all kept me going and reminded me not to get down because actually I'm very lucky - hugs :A

Good morning all :j Hope you all had good MSE weekends. We went to see the big man himself :santa2: which was good fun and decided against eating out and came home for pork (1/2 price at Mr Ts) instead :T

So another DD has come out:

    #084 £17,330 / £58,000 29.88%

That 0.12% is a bit irritating! Might try and tidy that up later...

There is a £100 leeway in the Joint Account so will declare £100 off that OD...which leaves £4600 on this OD to pay off by end of Feb

    #084 £17,430 / £58,000 30.05%

    That's much better :rudolf:

Huh, sooo close to 35%! Can't believe it's going to take me the rest of month to pay off that pesky 0.09%, oh well I'm nearly there!
