WOW you must feel amazing!!! Congratulations - a massive achievement wel done :T:T
Unfortunatley didn't get the job - they didn't appoint any of us so don't feel too down. Will keep looking
Another £269 paid off debt today so now up to 80% :j:j and buying Christmas without using credit :T
Sorry to hear you didn't get the job hun, I hope you're really proud of what you've achieved this year with paying off 80% of your debt!!!! XxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
Debt at Highest: £43,073 :eek:0 -
I've been having car troubles... it's broken down 3 times this week cos I have a faulty throttle pedal. Quoted £311 to fix...!!!!! So, we're getting a second hand one tomorrow which should halve the cost.
Saw the mortgage advisor and was really shocked to find out that they will lend me up to £138k which means a house value at 10% of over £150k!!! That insane for a single person on my salary. At least it gives me scope to look a little higher and in better locations.
I also did a viewing on 'the house' yesterday. It has a lot of potential but also needs a lot of work doing to it. I haven't seen the neighbours yet and I'd like to view in the daytime so I can see the gardens and how much light reaches each room. If I'm still undecided then I'll wait for a while and keep saving until more properties come on the market.

Minicooper sorry to hear about the job but well done on your 80% :j:j
Jemma, is the house in a good location? If so then I would buy it, if it is in a desirable location for the size of house etc. then you will be likely to make money on it and sell easily. Like all the property shows say you want the worst house on the best road to do up, you can't buy a good house then change the road :rotfl:
Anyway, payday #2&3 today so I have paid off £800 to my NW OD. Only £500 left now! :T:T

I am so happy not only to have been able to reach my target amount for this year, but to also pay off more than I thought I was able to pay..This was by no means all of my debts, as I only have a small amount to pay debts with each month.. I will be back next year and the year after that..
