Congrats NCTmum!! I actually have application forms for PPI to send to Egg as I'm sure I had it. When you applied with the PPI complaint form did you remember your account number etc?

Payday today! Unfortunately I have nothing to declare as now I'm paying off OD I can't even make a small token payment to a CC :( Second payday on Monday so I should be able to knock a couple of hundred off (fingers crossed) and then the DDs should start rolling in.

I haven't made a declaration in weeks, it's like trying to kick an addiction!

    Next target £15k :j

    Apology - delirious typing coming

    I've got my PPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The children were killing themselves as I was waving the cheque in the air in the garden and jumping - big mistake as had an ill fitting bra on.

I am so relieved as Egg said they were upholding my complaint, then it took them 4 months to send the cheque when they promised 3 weeks. I've emailed them twice, emailed the CEO of European operations, their FSA registered head of complaints, plus tried to get through to them on the phone, and they ignored everything. And then it arrived:beer:

    Massive update coming soon xxx

Oh congratulations! Hubby phoned them up yesterday to chase his cheque up as it's been a month since we've heard anything. Apparently as they've sent out all these letters to customers who had PPI (and stupidly sent them at the same time) they now a back log of claims and subsequent issuing of cheques :(. He's only getting £65 but it all helps!

Hubby's payday tomorrow but I've still got to wait another week for mine

was down to 3 last debts the first one, cabot, told me that i owe £89.66, so that will be paid off next week :j:j:j

the 2nd, both with moorcroft, on one account they owed me £184 overpayment :j:beer::T, so will be sending me a cheque as they cannot take it off my 3rd and last one and that is down to just over £400....

Hmm I am contemplating reducing my OD by £50, it's a few days before payday and I've had some expenses come back. I know I should pay off the cc first though as it's higher interest, but I think I'd feel better when I'm in the black on the bank account....not sure what to do...

    Edit to update:
Decided to go for it and knocked my OD down from £1000 to £950 :) my direct debit for my cc has gone through too which is £68.61 off my cc
    So now I have:
    DCA: £1040 / £1220
    OD: £950 / £1000
    CC: £1431.40 / £1500

    £3421.40 / £3540

well I now HAVE to be debt free by xmas 2012, as I have just booked myself a 'congratulations on paying £8800 off all by yourself in just over a year' treat :o I have decided to have my hair dyed professionally for christmas (I usually do a bottle job myself every so often) as I had my hair cut today for the impending Scotland trip and was talking to the hairdresser about how bad my roots were. Chatting about cost and the one time I had it done in a salon it cost me £95   and she said they charge £65 for the foils, cut and blowdry, still alot of money when you think about it but after this scrounging year and the fact I do normally only have my hair cut once a year, I want it done :o For the first time in god knows how long, I am going to do something just because I want too not because I have too :o

oh and when I told DH, he actually cheered :o
