    Spag could you sell it yourself? When we sold in Oxfordshire we put a home made sign up outside (we were on a reasonably busy road), made up some leaflets and sold in a week. Oh it's all coming back to me now,we sold it for 20k more than the lazy ea said it was worth :rotfl:
    Payday tomorrow so a little extra payment to NR loan goes out overnight
    No.069 £7400/ £7719 = 95.86%

    I can smell the finishing line :j
    I wondered this as well. I've always wondered why people can sell everything but their house themselves. Since when did EAs take over the world?

    Almost there lemonpopsicle :)

    In theory you are right Kerri (and I admire everything you did Lemonpop and will certainly give it a try when the time comes ) BUT it certainly was the case when we bought here that EAs for any prospective new house wouldn't even let you in the door without knowing your financial status. We had to give the new EA the details for the EA selling our flat to show we had sold and were able to make an offer :eek::mad: To be fair that was 2005 and the height of the boom but I presume they still do it to keep their monopoly! It would def work if you were selling to rent or to buy at auction though.

    Payday tomorrow! :j:beer::j:beer::j:beer:

    Can you believe it is the end of October already :eek: 2 more months until Xmas with all the expense that entails and the end of this challenge.

    I have to pay of about £180 from my "purchase" CC which has lain dormant. This is because I have bought all of the kids Xmas presents now (all either second hand or 20-25% off) 20% off in HMV using O2 moments, lego 25% off amazon and 4x DS games for £3 each on FB selling :j £180 will get it back to £0 though.

    Oh, and we went to legoland for DS's Birthday and had a pizza after and that was on the CC too.

    All their stocking stuff and presents done, just have to find a beyblade arena from somewhere less than full price :eek:

    DH is sorted stocking wise (he is a real foodie and happened to be going past a farm shop last week selling foodie gifts and chutneys etc. half price!) so just his main pressie but we'll only do something silly and inexpensive. Family to do with Nov paypacket :eek:

    Still feel :mad: that it's all bought with other people's (i.e. banks) money though...I wish I was debt free!

    Have a nice day everyone xx

    Well, I've made a payment on my CC today but as it covers my new bed and the interest only, my debt amount hasn't changed (but I've bought a new bed and my debt hasn't gone up!) :D

    Apology - delirious typing coming

    I've got my PPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The children were killing themselves as I was waving the cheque in the air in the garden and jumping - big mistake as had an ill fitting bra on.

    I am so relieved as Egg said they were upholding my complaint, then it took them 4 months to send the cheque when they promised 3 weeks. I've emailed them twice, emailed the CEO of European operations, their FSA registered head of complaints, plus tried to get through to them on the phone, and they ignored everything. And then it arrived:beer:

    Massive update coming soon xxx
