Hello, I fell of the last four weeks as I have ben manic. But I have been lurking and trying to be good. My totals are as follows: -
#340 £5345.66/£6,534.22 81.8%October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
Wow, so much has happened since I was last on here!
Congratulations Mumof3 for being debt free! You've done so well! And Pyscho - you've been a bit naughty but well done, you look fab! It always amazes me why shops and magazine and the like use models that are a size 8 for photo shoots for shape wear - it makes no sense!
Not much going on here, just waiting for hubby's payday on Friday and then my payday next Friday, although it looks a though it's going to be a tight month. Hubby did some overtime last week although he hasn't decided whether he's having the money or whether he's going to have a few days off, but it meant that I put our weekly shop back to Saturday as he was eating at work - it was a bit of struggle working with what we had left in the cupboards but it was worth it. AND I only spent £50 at Mr S and it will last us until this Saturday, so as hubby is not working this weekend we might go to lidl or aldi to make our money stretch even further.
DD2 is now four months old, so we need to start thinking about getting a new mattress for the cot bed, but I want to get a descend one this time as she'll be in it for a while.£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

This now makes me DEBT FREE:beer:
In a bit of a quandry (sp) can I declare my origional debt of £1947.90 cleared or can I add all the spends that I have had on it for the yr on top of that? If yes then I am declaring £3344.52 and debt free as of 19th October 2012. Paid it early evening but went out and didn;t have time to post.
I have put the two older posts on to see if this makes sense Jemma.
Let me know Jemma but we are away for 6 days from tomorrow so will check the debt free roll of honour when I get back.
Thanks for everyone's support on here and a huge thanks for Jemma for running the challenge.

Hello everyone, I've been AWOL for a while as work has been crazy so I have a lot of catch up reading to do, but just wanted to pop in and say well done to everyone - you're all doing so well! I will be back later in the week to update you on figures. I'm not on track for debt free by Xmas but I'm not too far off! CW2
Debt at LBM (31.05.11): £16,750
Debt Free Date 22.12.12 :j
Saving for a house deposit: £5,003 / £15,000 target0 -
Right, I need a kick up the backside please. I really need to start debt busting properly again, I seem to have completely lost track since I moved in with the OH and the debt has just stopped. It seems it's alright to go shopping and spending like there's no tomorrow. But I know this isn't right.
Maybe I should set myself mini challenges, I'm not sure. I think I might try taking £20 out of the bank each week and that's my spending money. Although online shopping is the worst culprit for me, how do I beat that one?
I feel really guilty as I was doing so well too. Sorry to put a downer on things everyone, I'm really pleased for everyone that's busting and congrats to Mumof3 for making it to where I wish I could get toxxx

I am now nearly 30 weeks pregnant. I am starting to get nervous...it is coming up too quickly. I am on sick leave at the moment due to an injury at work. Baby is fine, Thank Goodness...now that I am on bedrest, the baby is piling on the weightand is nice and active too. The older children are loving having me home, but are not so keen that I am keeping a closer eye on their homework, music practise etc ha ha! Have a good week all!
Take it easy, don't overdo it and if you're told to rest...REST!lemonpopsicle wrote: »We've just had a treatwe went to see Frankenweenie 3D at the pictures and it was FAB but isn't it expensive - £35 for three of us

Are you buying stuff for your new pad? When I moved in with DH, we re-decorated, bought new furniture, shuffled things around so it felt liked our home. That's one of the main reasons I fell into debt (he was already in debt from when he'd moved in and made it his house before I came along)
Maybe you need to be tough with yourself and set yourself a spending limit each month. x0 -

Defo going to be tough, going to set myself a weekly budget that I draw out of the bank and I'm not allowed to go over it because we already have food covered from the joint accountDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hello Kerri! Sorry to hear you feel you have slipped a bit, are you brave enough to say the figures out loud? And don't think you're putting a downer on things, I've got that covered!
Have finally been brave enough to give ourselves a DFD based on reality. It nicely coincides with our mortgage fix coming to an end so we can totally reassess our finances in JUNE 2014
So I'll be here on this thread for another 2 years :eek:DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0
