    Yey, well done you getting in a national newspaper. It's one of those things that years from now you'll be able to say "when I was younger......" :rotfl:

    All this time I've been thinking you were called Samantha because you said you had a male name that began with the letter 'S' :rotfl:

  • Wow, what fascinating reading all this makes...where to start- Congrats to Tirlittan, Lemon-your story was sooo inspiring and I loved the poem 'Risk'; Psych-you look gorgeous and Mum-fantastic news that you have joined the DF Roll of Honour too. Four kisses - one for each of you...xxxx

    I am now nearly 30 weeks pregnant. I am starting to get nervous...it is coming up too quickly. I am on sick leave at the moment due to an injury at work. Baby is fine, Thank Goodness...now that I am on bedrest, the baby is piling on the weight :) and is nice and active too. The older children are loving having me home, but are not so keen that I am keeping a closer eye on their homework, music practise etc ha ha! Have a good week all!

    Well volunteered!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I was thinking that if anyone wanted to [STRIKE]takeover[/STRIKE];) help then we could each take turns in running the thread on maybe a monthly basis so it's not just one person? What do you think? xxx

    I'm happy to help, but as I work full time I only get on here for a short while in the evenings druring the week. But happy to chip in and do my bit. ;)

    Behave yourself Canuck, and keep resting, make them kids make you cups of tea :D thats what I make my eldest do, though his tea is just like milky water :eek: hoping lots of practice will make him better at it :rotfl:

    Well Young Madam woke me up this morning with tummy ache and after 30 mins of moaning, threw up all over me :eek: thankfully what she was bringing up was completely clear so I think its just a cold and I was actually wrapped up in a blanket at the time so she completely missed all my clothes :D :T (celebrate the little things :D)

    She wasnt happy at the time but is currently sat opposite me with a smal bowl of wheetos so cant be feeling that bad ;) will still keep her off dancing today just incase as dont want to be infecting anyone else if it does turn out to be a bug of some sort :( annoying as she has to miss dancing again next week as its Scotland weekend :eek: :eek: but cant be helped. Have had no payments at all for weeks :( may have to check the bank today and see whats going on as havent looked in ages :eek:

  • loving hearing all your stories. and really well done to all those who have completed or nearly completed this challenge.

    ill be here next year although hopefully only debt repaying for the first bit of it and then just along for the ride.

    made my once a month payment today (following payday yesterday) so

    no 78 £3175/£4500. 70% paid.

    pretty happy with that but now with christmas shopping looming its going to be hard to make much of a dent the next couple of months. i will try and i will do overtime at my second job but i am know for a bit of a major overspend at christmas so here goes lol xx
  • Look after yourself Canuksfan!

    Hope Lily feels better soon JM!

    Well done Mumof3! Excellent news! I'm not going to be joining you any time soon :(

    I went to karaoke last night after work, feeling a bit tender this morning. Off to the zoo for Mr S's belated birthday treat - feeding the meerkats :D and off to my first halloween party tonight! No moneysaving for me at the moment, but I'm also trying to avoid using the cc which is mostly working ok.
