I'm up to the end of page 184....Blimey!!!

I'll carry on tomorrow folks but now it's bedtime!

Canucksfan – I asked my sister tonight and she started to feel the kicking about 4 weeks ago but she’s getting more acrobatic now (the baby that is!). Glad to hear that Kerfuffle is doing well, I hope we hear from her again but just let her know we are thinking of her. How are you doing? How’s the night shift working out?

Bonglecat – how is your hubby doing with not smoking? How was Madeira???

Mrs Addicted to Spending – How are you feeling on the debt front at the moment? I know you were feeling pretty disheartened in August. So how is the hubby getting on with his LBM? Is he still leaving his card?

Karrie2129 – How are you getting on with paying off your Littlewoods account?

Ruthy1604 – Hey we’re almost neck and neck with our totals now, it’s so exciting hitting the 70% mark!!! Oops, just read further on and you’re almost at the 75% off mark!

Fritterprincess – Have you made any more headway in paying off you overdraft? It’s such a fabulous feeling to be rid of that noose around your neck!

    Kerri_dfw – WHERE ARE YOU??? I hope you’re ok hun x

Jakes-mum – 85.52% paid off, that is incredible!!!

Lemonpopsicle – Well done in getting rid of Mr Branson! I got rid of Mr Barclaycard yesterday and it’s a great feeling! I’m so impressed by you reaching £7100, 92% paid off is an incredible achievement and you are so close to being debt free now!!!

Colsey – Excellent start Colsey! Not far to reach 10%!

    CW2 – Over 60% off is a terrific milestone!

GreenSaints – WHOOP!!! Over 25% paid off!

Cj75 – Great to hear from you and well done on your weightloss! I’ve been trying soooo hard to lose weight but it’s seemed to be an uphill battle lately with being ill then going on holiday where I didn’t do much exercise. Also it’s brill that £300 arrears has now been confirmed as paid off!

Thanks Spagbol and everyone else who is so lovely about the thread. I don't mind at all managing this challenge, I wish I could devote a lot more time to it but life has just been so hectic the last few months! And yes I do feel incredibly proud of you all. It doesn't matter if you're already debt free or you will be debt free or even if you have not paid anything off but have more importantly not added to your debt. If you've changed your life for the better because of this thread then I couldn't be more proud. I won't be debt free by Xmas like quite a few of you (will hopefully only have £2k to go) but I don't feel that I've failed. I will have paid off £15k in a year and that is not to be sniffed at!

Keep up the hard work everyone! :A

Jemma - hope you had a lovely holiday! And what a mahoosive round up!!

I ran the Bristol half on Sunday. I didn't train enough so was looking to do it just as a training run. Everything went well up to 9miles but then I started to slow down. The last 3 miles were hard and the last mile an absolute killer. I was determined to run all the way and my resolve to do that was properly tested in those final miles. But I did it! I ran every single step of the way and got over the finish line in 2:20:22 which I was very pleased with. Next time, I'll train properly!

    14 days till DFD!!!

Good debt busting everyone! Keep at it!

    Hi Jemma et al,

I'm still here, still reading, just lurking.

My parents are over here visiting us at the moment so I don't have much time to linger on here.

My daughter and Grandson are doing great, he's still having a four-hourly feeds so she's getting very tired now. Luckily her partner works 4 days on 4 days off so he can really lend a hand when he's around.

Well done to everybody making payments and going that extra push, not long to go now at all .

Congrats on all to baby news.

Shame the summer is over, hope you've all had a good one, and you're all set for the mad manic season ahead of us.

Here's to the next 84 days!!
  • I had to get the old sheepskin boots out this morning so summer is officially over :( Been to the doctors today and have had hypothyroidism diagnosed. This hopefully explains my exhaustion and many other things that I've had going on in the last couple of years. I didn't think that they would take me seriously, but it appears so, and on the bright side, I now don't have to pay for prescriptions!

Slowly getting the spendies paid off again, it's sickening to think had I not gone crazy the last couple of months, I'd actually be debt free by now. Hey ho, the scenic road is the best and all that.

well done Tirlittan on running the whole way!
