Well, we do like to have a bit of fun in the boondocks....but let's move on from chafing. After all, we don't want it becoming a sore point.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

Superheavy - you really make me laugh :rotfl:- cheers me up in the mornings!
Jemma - SpagBol's right - exercise is crucial to getting through life in a more sane way so if the gym's the right way for you to do your exercise then that's great. My biggest expense is exercise - I spend about £50 a month on it (yoga, skiing and then I walk 2 miles every day which doesn't cost me anything except shoe leather, well trainer material anyway). But it's well worth it as it makes me physically and mentally healthier
and that's more important than money. Having said that, I've now got to give up the skiing until we've paid debts off but the yoga stays as I can't survive as well without it!
In other news, I think my DH may finally have had a LBM - I say this with trepidation (good word that :rotfl:) in case it doesn't last. He's put his Visa card (his downfall) on top of the kitchen units so that he doesn't spend and then I'm giving him his weekly money so that he doesn't have to use his Switch card either. He finally realised on Saturday that the credit cards bills have to be paid from somewhere and if we are continually right up against our overdraft limit each month, they are never going to be paid. Hopefully this thinking will last .Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

You're a funny lot!
Interest was only £3.56, so have paid that much off again which means I've paid another £25 off from total and £495 left. 39 days to go...
EDITED to say I had to pay the £5 off as well so it's £490 now, nice round number...:)DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
I'm curious what people leave themselves for a month for cash (after all DDs/SOs are accounted for) as I'm tempted to throw as much as I can towards debt. Also, does anyone know how the ticker thing works?0
