    Hey everyone
Have just got back from lovely hols in Croatia and enjoying catching up reading everyone's posts.

Have set myself back massively by spending way more on hols than necessary (croatia is cheap but no I still manage £900 in 12 days - mostly in the duty free shop on the way home)

I just couldn't resist buying presents for friends & fam... Anyway living on 8p noodles for the rest of the month is fine but I had a shock when I added up totals and found that I'm £500 more in debt than when I started this thread, all due to overspending for holiday:o

I am due £125 for switching my bank a/c soon (no idea when), £40 which I leant to a friend and £70 work expenses makes £235 which is coming straight off the OD when I get it.

I'm massively disappointed in myself but I have to believe that I can do it sooooooo I'm still aiming to pay off my agreed total by Xmas.

Hope everyone's having a good summer :D Shrewbie xx

I really am confusing myself with all these numbers so Jemma if you don't mind I'm going to change my total to my total debt rather than just what I am going to pay off before Xmas, and adding on my overspend from holiday... then there's just the one number to focus on... thank you;)

Still waiting for my cheque to clear before I can transfer the money to my current account then onto the cc. Don't understand why it takes so long.

Hope everyone had a good and was enjoying the much needed sunshine! Bought dd1 some new shoes, a nice posh pair and an everyday pair which set me back £36, then spent £17 at the shop for some BBQ stuff :( oh well we needed cheering up as the weather has been pretty dismal lately. Some cheap dinners ahead then next week, as only £33 left in the budget!

:j:j:j:j:j Ahem, can I make a little announcement to my Posse...I am debt free! It feels Fan-Bloomin-Tastic I can tell you. All of the hopes and dreams we daydream about on this journey about what we will do once we are DF...well now we can pursue em - they are a reality!
As the debt belonged to both my DH and I, he is also sharing in the happiness! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

    Congrats Canucksfan!

Another name to add to the roll of honour. Now you can get after those goals that make life worth living again.

Make sure you enjoy the money that isn't being spent on debt repayments, and come back to tell me how great it is so I can kick on and finish too!
