Sat here feeling a bit down. I need to find £2400 to get this dog off my back before Xmas 12, assuming I pay our tax rebate to it plus the regular loan payments that takes it down to £1400. That means I've got to find £280 a month  don't think I'm going to do it
Anyway, to cheer me up a bit I've just transferred £100 from business acct. into current acct. and paid £100 off Virg cc.
Sorry to mess you about Jemma, new figures

Hi peeps.
Bit off topic but wanted to run this by the thread as it's quite busy and you know my situation.
I registered my interest to work via coucil for the olympics as they needed last minute extra people. However, today I missed their call which was probably to say they wanted me. In the meantime, BF has arranged with a friend to go climbing in South Coast this weekend and possible weekend after (I would have to work both Saturdays) and this weekend especially is supposed to be good and I want to go. I would net about £140 for 6 4-6hr shifts, that's tax and travel taken off. I'd quite like to be able to say that I worked for the olympics, but I also want to go have fun in the sun. A year ago, it would've been no brainer but now I'm almost debt free and don't need the money for that so I can make a decision not based on that. What would you do?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Tirlittan - personally, I would go with BF climbing especially if I didn't feel like I needed the money. However, I'm not into the olympics whatsoever (don't even intend to watch any of it) so I wouldn't see any prestige in having worked there. If being part of the olympics is a big deal for you, those mountains will still be there to climb in a few weeks (and hopefully the sunshine too)0

Thanks for response his missus. I'm not too bothered, would've just been nice, I'm not British anyway. I haven't called them back so unless they call me back, I think I'll let it go. Especially as I think we need to take every opportunity to enjoy the sunshine.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
