I'm very proud of myself today. The balances are showing zero on my Next account, so I phoned them and closed it this morning!
Wahoo! It's a fab feeling and now I have an extra £70 per month to put towards Raymond, who is my next challenge!
(Raymond is the name for my loan!)
Not long till payday and I can't blooming wait to get some more money paid off!
In other news coop have massively helped by debt cause by putting up their interest rates on the cc from 9 to 18%. However, if I don't spend on it then the rate stays at 9! So, card was cut up yonks ago. But now it's been deleted from all places like amazon and paypal. Thanks coop! debtfreeness is just a sniff away!October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
Ugh, have spent the entire morning on the phone to various sections of the HMRC
I knew it was coming but it was still a loooooong and depressing time trying to change over all the benefits now DH is not working
Absolutely everyone wants his P45, ive realised that the letter the tax office sent me about DH's code was actually classing his last job as a second job so he was on 20% straight tax, so phone call to them and they havent recieved P45's from last job or job before , so phone call to job before last chasing P45, they were waiting to make sure the payslip was right . . . . oooooooook?
Onto ESA for the 30 minute yes/no game followed by 'your packs coming fill it in as soon as possible and send it back to us!' My ESA took me a week to fill in, so hurray! another one!
Then its tax credits to tell them, and im thinking 'jesus, hes got no money coming in and tax credits are about to take their money too! this is not going to be a fun month'oh and they cant update his info for ESA/DLA anyway as we havent had a decision yet! ughhhhhhhhhhh!
Still waiting for the axa money to appear. Horrible horrible day all round me thinksSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
