wow great to see so many still plugging away.

i get paid tomorrow so ive done my payments now as they take days to come out normally.

ive paid off another £380 so that means

    no. 78 £2500/£4500 which is 55%

so that means im over 50% finally and next month one of my two debts will be completely gone forever and ill be into owing a figure that begins with one thousand and not more - woo hoo xx
  • Hi all, just a quick post from me... I've skim-read to catch up but hugs to those that need them and congrats to those who have busted debt, got married etc etc.

I've had a busy 2 weeks, what with my return to work course and Latitude festival.... unfortunately on my second day of the course, my car cam belt snapped so my car is basically unrepairable :( I'm test-driving some new cars on Saturday but my heart breaks to think of paying out £200+ per month for the next 5 years. Even 5k loans are high repayments, and you don't have much guarantee with an older car (although all of mine have been bangers pretty much!!). If only it had waited a couple of months and I could think a bit clearer about money. It cost me £250 to get it towed back home!! Luckily I did pay for the breakdown as the campervan we borrowed for the festival broke down on the way home and we had to get her towed home too!!

My debt has increased, but with my shares sale next month, I should be left (fingers crossed!) with less than £1k on 0% cc. Back to work properly tomorrow, I'm working with the friend who hasn't spoken to me after the text I sent about being upset so that will be interesting... Mr S says I should call her but I don't want to, I'd rather just go to work, see how it is and go home again.

On the subject of men, I've returned home this evening after nearly 2 weeks away to carp everywhere, only one load of washing done and left in the machine, and no tidying done at all!! He had a poker night on 7th july, and only did the washing up from it last night... I'm not happy in the slightest. GRR.

I once got home to find my ex-boyfriend had eaten 48 sausages over the course of a week and had done no housework. We're no longer together :rotfl:

I'm hopefully back on track this month after the discovery of my husband's £2,000 secret debt:

    #307 £4,960.29 / £18,388.93 26.97%

Well done affordmylife & Avogirly, getting over 50% is a real milestone
