Just waiting for the toffee to cool then will be whipping up my double cream for the toppinghavent told them I was making it (just incase it was a disaster ) so a nice surprise for all when they get home

Morning! Have just checked my b/a and work are paying me £600 more than I thought, which means I should be able to pay off most of my c/c if I'm very good for the next month. I might need to dip into the c/c a little bit, but with the expenses coming back and the extra in wage fingers crossed I won't be sooo far behind as I thoughtDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Hellooooo! I haven't stopped by in a while, I've had nothing new to update, as I've been living by the skin of my teeth for a couple of weeks now. Soul building stuff! I don't think I will be catching up on everything I've missed out on though, but if I'm lucky I'll come by one of Jemma's epic headlines :rotfl:.
Pay day tomorrow, and I thought I'd see how much I have left in my bank account. Just discovered I have gone overdrawn, as a payment for £31 that I was told would come out on 15/07 actually came out on Sat and pushed me £3 over my limit . Also not sure why I didn't get a text alert to warn me, as I have text alerts set up. Hopefully this all points to me being able to get my charges refunded though, fingers crossed!
Hope everyone has been getting on well with the debt busting!0 -
Thanks to everyone for welcoming me! I'm doing lots of reading here but not much posting! It's nice to just listen to you all until I get to know you! Would like to make an update of a big payment but I'm not getting paid for a couple of weeks yet so I'm reporting a tiny payment of £4!!! This is because I joined another challenge to make a weekly payment!

Good to hear from you Kerri, glad you're ok and don't worry about feeling a little out of your depth, that's how you learn and progress!
Well done to all of you on your payments, I will be updating later this evening so I'll comment individually then! It's payday for me so I need to work out the damage... I have decided to send the garmin 410 back as I just can't use it so will get most of my money back.
Must dash, just found out one of our sites has badly flooded and I need to go and sort it out...

Hi All
Just paid another $1000 off against my debt. I was hoping to wipe that final amount into smithereens, but I have little things like food for the family and a big gas bill to pay first. I have stuck to my resolution of not doing anymore Overtime and so my pay has lessened-a lot.
It is so nice being near the end of the marathon - can't wait til you all get to this point at well!
I find myself saying to the bank balance on my Intenet Banking account, 'Debt I am SO over you'. It feels like getting an ex-boyfriend who was being a pain out of your system. Or saying ta-ra and cutting off no-good 'Friends' on facebook. Or how the Italian team must be feeling as they sqare up to take on Spain. Or wondering how come I am walking around feeling so much lighter-oh it must be because I no longer have the weight of the world (largely comprising of debt) on my shoulders.
Just keep working away at it, chipping away at that ole debt...it's worth it in the end!!!

PS Just to clarify to nosy young daughter who is looking shocked at my last entry, I do not have a boyfriend, ex or otherwise.
PPS If Rafael Nadal needs a shoulder to cry on now that he doesnt have to play anymore at silly old Wimbledon, then I am contactable via Facebook, Twitter, text, email, in person...'You've got to tell your money what to do or it will leave!' Dave Ramsey0
