Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh Pedro are you doing the Great North Run? Also what is a Garmin, I've never heard of one...
Yup, I'm supposed to be! It depends on my leg. Garmin do GPS sports watches that tell you your pace, heart rate, distance, calories etc, and then save your workout details/plot your route on a map. I've found it's a great way of easily tracking my progress, and monitoring heart rate means you can stop yourself over exerting. Best toy I've bought (i.e. I actually use it)
Are you in the GNR?0 -

Superheavy – I think your bucketlist is perfect the way it is. Who says we have to grow up and lose sight of our dreams. If these are the things that are important to you then go for them! What the rest of society do is up them, what is important is what YOU want. X
Thanks Jemma, I'm not likely to change anytime soon, although if things like a partner, family and responsibilities come along then it may happen.
I like all the talk about getting fit, and all the challenges look very impressive.
Fritterprincess - I had a Halfords' own brand mountain bike a few years ago. The main reason that I bought it was that I'd crashed the car and had to get back and forth to work (5 miles). It was fine for cycling on the road, although I wish I hadn't got the full suspension one, as it did wallow a little. However, once I started using it for actual mountain biking it really didn't cut the mustard, and wasn't built particularly well to resist the bumps and crashes of mountain biking. I ended up throwing it in the shed and getting a new bike for mountain biking, so if you're not going for actual mountain biking then the halfords bike should be fine. Avoid the Full Suspension though.
And I've missed the update for tonight, but a loan payment this morning. Not with RBS so it actually left the account too.

BrandNewStart - "Dislike" to Student Loans Company - why do some people have to be so rude?
Pedro – well done on your race :j
Canucksfan – good luck with your scan. Let us know how it goes.
Catmort – glad you managed to find another place to live.
Jemma – I can’t believe that the yoga teacher laughed at you for being inflexible – that’s why people go to yoga – to get flexible! It obviously wasn’t a very good teacher.
Well folks your views would be good here. My DH has private medical insurance with his new job which is costing him £21.00 per month but the excess is £1000  which we couldn't afford even if he needs the treatment. I'm wondering whether he should just cancel it and he's not sure what to do. What do people think? Thanks for your help :T.Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364

If you couldn't afford the access if you had to claim id see it as dead money and cancel it then DD the £21 a month into a savings account each month instead. Ditto. Get rid, it's not as if we don't have a fall-back option here in the UK. That's £252 a year down the drain, save it instead and enjoy the money0 -
canucksfan - good luck with your scan. Fingers crossed everything will be just fine!
Pedro - didn't realise xt range was all waterproof, haven't really done much research yet.
Jakes-mum - glad to hear your finger has stopped bleeding. Ouch for getting shampoo on it though.
fritterprincess - if you just want the bike for cycling on roads/cycle paths, the victoria bike will be absolutely fine. It'll also be 'easier' to ride on smooth tires on roads, mountain bike tyres will wear more and will have more resistance on roads.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
