Well some bad news in the jakesmum household, DH got his notice letter from work today, so back we go to the temp agencies and job seekers website :( I seriously believe there is now no company in the cambrigeshire area that does not have his CV on file :(

He's disappeared off down the shed as it always knocks his confidence :( I do feel for him as he works so bloomin hard at every job but its never good enough :(

Well back I go to see if ive missed any jobs anywhere

Well done everyone it has been an eventful few days.

Well I'm dancing about like a cat on a hot tin roof.

Apparently the solicitor sent the money Wednesday but it takes two days to land in my account. There was also a rather embarrassing email from the solicitor saying they have sent too much money to my account. It would appear I have been sent by brother allocation as well!

Shame I can't keep it. Though with no sign of it starting to think they will have dropped another clanger. On better news its payday tomorrow and my new code is in effect and I have an extra £137 in my payslip. Got rather giddy when I saw it all! So might as well do my update tonight as I have a busy weekend.

No 149: Total amount paid off [STRIKE]£8,385.78, Amount paid off 58.81%[/STRIKE]Please ignore new total on next page

Looking forward to having a zero balance with aqua this month and finally being able to close Vanquis as these monkeys require two clear months before closing the card!

Thanks Mrs Addicted to Spending for your Yoga tips. Sorry, the post was too far back for a quote!! I have been putting this on the back burner due to OH and I going through a very rough patch - almost splitting up. :-( on the plus side this means debt busting and waist-line busting as I tend to hibernate in these situations and not want to visit the shops or eat.... oh dear !!!!!:o

anyway my ten things to do when I'm debt free, thanks Kerri:

    1. Visit Morocco and purchase lots of lovely furniture for the flat which I'll be able to ship home
    2. Treat my lovely parents and sisters to days out and generally make them feel loved
    3. Treat my OH more (if we're still together that is!!)
    4. Buy a whole new wardrobe put together by a personal shopper as I have no sense of style plus some amounts of body dysmorphia haha
    5. Spend more on weekly shops e.g. nicer foods
    6. Make a savings pot for rainy days and potential mortgages
    7. Eyelash perm every 3 months (I'm addicted to this)
    8. Nice restaurant meals out every month
    9. have a 'cushion' in case of unexpected expenses
    10. I can't think of a tenth!!!!!! I think I'm done:rotfl::rotfl:

Well done everyone we're doing so well!! XX

Hey everyone, lots of lovely posts on here recently, I've especially loved reading the wishlists after debt freedom.

I'm off to pick up my grandma from her hols in Cleveley's tomorrow evening and then watching the olympic torch go past my house on Saturday afternoon! I'm planning on getting in another run as well despite the weather forecast so busy busy as usual. Had a rubbish day at work today with horrendous office politics but I'll be out of there soon (in fact, sooner than you think cos I need to cover for someone's holidays for the next 3 weeks at another depot!)

Enough of my ramblings, I need to be a domestic goddess (NOT!) and get my washing out of the machine and put it on the clothes horse...yawn

OOOOOHHHHHH that reminds me, my number 11 on my wishlist is to be able to afford a cleaner because I was not put on this earth to clean! I hate it and would rather pay someone else to do it than waste pointless hours of my life up to my elbows in rubber gloves and bleach!

Ahem, sorry! I'm up to page 110 but here you go so far...

Canucksfan – when is your first scan hun?

Choclover – please tell me you have some lovely baby news for us????

Psychopathbabble – sooooo jealous of your lovely hols, loved the pics!

Trying Hard – I hope you had a great birthday!!!

Mrs Addicted to Spending – Well done on saving £60 on your house insurance! My car insurance is coming up in August and I’m dreading it...

Jo84 – Congratulations on your lovely little niece!!! I can’t wait until I find out if my sister is going to have a boy or a girl... Don’t worry, I’m feeling a little left behind too in the marriage/kids thing but our time will come *fingers/legs/arms crossed* Wahoo on paying off your overdraft!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annelien – wow, paying £3k off in one go is fantastic! You’re now over 25% paid off!!!

Avogirly – Woop woop at the free bank switch money! About the diary idea, they work for some people and not for others. I personally don’t keep a diary as I kind of feel like I have to write in it every day and I also tend to write in one only on the days when I’m feeling very down or emotional. It’s your choice but why not give it a go and see how you go on? If you don’t take to it then just stop hun. How is your hayfever?

1stTimer – payday for you tomorrow!!!

BrandNewStart – how is the cycling going?

Kerfuffle – how did your appointment at the opticians go?

Tirlittan – Congrats on reaching 60% paid off!

Loubie_lou – how are you doing hun? How long till payday?

    Camuk81 – how’s the family situation hun?

Starnac – soooo close to 35% paid off, you’re steaming ahead!

Shrewbie – how did your research into yoga dvds go?
