Ahh ty all, good news is that I got straight on the Internet and sent some applications off on the email, he got a phone call 20 mins later from one sending him down the road for an interview  and they offered him the position! Only a months work but gives me time to apply for more jobs while he still works. J-M a month's work is good news, well done you two :T It may lead to more work and will certainly add to his experience. Maybe you should open up your own job centre with resuts like that

Right, let's get back on this bandwagon! Hope everyone is well, I'm so impressed with everyone for keeping this thread so vibrant. And to Jemma for putting so much hard work in!
I overpaid my mum loan by £1275 today, and she responded by writing off half the £800 remaining, so my former biggest debt should be gone by next month :T It's really spurred me on, so I've recalced what I owe. I'm not including my car loan, because I didn't have it at the start, and besides, it's less than the car in value so it's a net asset. Enough weasel words... first update in months and months...
#57 £9,607.76/£17,227.93 55.77%
I MIGHT ACTUALLY DO THIS AFTER ALL :j:j:j
Oh, and in addition... Jemma, I need a new weight-loss target! Can you put be down for an additional 10lbs? 24 in total. Latest update...
#57 16lbs/24lbs
On a real high today
