I was just thinking I should make a career out of finding people work, I seem to be quite good at it :rotfl:. He doesnt even have to fill out application forms or send CV's, no wonder he sticks with me :rotfl:.

Just under £5k owing (hit my milestone!)
£2,953.23 paid off this month!
Next two months are going to be slower - got some of the annual bills (car tax, insurance & breakdown cover plus about £500 for holiday spends to cater for).

I've not gone yet, I leave at 12:35PM tomorrow and I feel quite sick at the moment. I've not been on a plane in years, and I've not been on a plane by myself in forever *gulp* I am staying in a lovely Hilton hotel in central Montreal, although have to hire a car and drive an automatic on the opposite side of the road *double gulp* I have sorted the finances though, AM3X is being delivered to Heathrow for me to collect tomorrow so at least that's sorted *phew*
I'm absolutely loving everyones lists this week, they're fab! I think they're really good for reminding us that we will get there
Thank you for the tips on taking a jumper and scarfI always get cold and hadn't even thought of it, I will take my lovely warm new hoodie, and I've found I can take some plastic round tipped knitting needles with me, so will knit myself a scarf on the way over
Slightly excited, slightly feel sick, slightly eep!!!
Hugs to those that need it by the way

Its been so long since I've posted I sort of forget how to do it....It's been great reading through all recent posts and seeing how well everyone is doing.
Since my last post I have also got a new job, my first permanent position since leaving Uni four years ago, so needless to say I'm over the moon and hoping my financial situation will start to improve.
I have continued to pay off my debt slowly and my new total is
# 272 £1,450/ £4,000
I'm not on target for paying it off before Christmas, but I'm going to think positive thoughts and try my hardest. Continuing good luck to all you debt free wannabes0 -
Kerri have a great time
I haven't been on a plane for 20 years
But when I did travel I went to Ibiza, Lanzarote, Tunisia, Italy & to see my cousin in Canada, and I will say give me the choice again I would go to Canada on my own, rather than the others. You hardly know you are flying as the plane is so big and flying from Heathrow is so exciting! I would be feeling ill with nerves too but what an achievement when you come home & tell family & friends about it.

In my book that definitely puts me over half way earlier than half way through the year, and closer to getting my life back from this debt!
Fantastic :jIs anyone else finding themselves ridiculously busy at the moment and struggling to keep up with everything??? Or is this just what it's like to get a life...? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Been emailing the lady at work and turns out they will cover train expenses so I can go to the premiere next week after all
Exciting stuff! Hoping we can go up on the friday night so we can see Mr S's family on the Saturday morning.
Had to go to the hospital this afternoon as it looked like I was still bleeding but they don't think it was anything to worry about. Poor Mr S not having much of a birthday! Still, there are 9 of us going for a surprise meal tomorrow night and he will probably go for a drink in town after to celebrate. He also got very spoilt so it's not all bad!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
