Pigpen - is/was it a heavy duty shredder? My home one only recommends 20 passes of up to 5 sheets at a time before needing a cooling off (yes it's a cheapie one, haha). If it's just the power that's gone, you might be fine if you unplug it for half an hour and try again?

No, just a bog standard one I think.. one of the button things has snapped.. the ones that stop it coming on if it isn't sitting on its box properly.. gggrrr

Hope you're all ok. I too have had a day of near tears. If any of you have any spare prayers going then myself and another Karen R could do with them.
Can't say why but believe me we need them. Anyone else who needs a prayer please ask and I'll reciprocate.

I apologise to any non religious people here.

First of all big hugs to Tatty and Kaz - hope your are feeling better this morning.

I have not done much this week (I know its naughty) but I have been too tired after work (thats my excuse anyway!)

    So today I will
    - Tidy Living Room
    - Tidy Hall
    - Tidy Kitchen
    - Tidy Dining Room

Then tomorrow tackle upstairs. It shouldnt take too long to do downstairs as I did it properly last weekend. Wish me luck! x x

Right.. don't... everyone else is obliged to respect your views and beliefs as you are theirs.. so don't ever apologise for your faith.. it isn't something to be ashamed or sorry about!!

Love, hugs, prayers, positive vibes, virtual rescue remedy and vital essence to everyone in need.. I will be thinking of you and hope your problems are soon solved.

It appears everyone is having a hard week/weekend.

Hubby isboarding the back loft today so the stuff from the middle room we are keeping can be stored up there until the rooms are decorated and functional again.. I just don't quite know where to start!!

Hhhmm... getting dressed might be a good place!!!

How many binbags of flinging are we aiming for this weekend?

I'm going for 4 for charity shop and 4 for the bin!!!

I hope everyone who was a bit down yesterday is feeling much better today! There was a day the other week when quite a few people were reporting tears/close to tears... I think some of you have sync'd (sp?) :D

Kaz2904, I absolutely echo what Pigpen has said about not apologising!

Penguin83, good luck with the tidying today! Let us know how you get on.

Pigpen, you are the binbag queen of this thread and I mean that in a completely positive way! :D I am having trouble getting a shoebox size lot to go in one session these days, especially now the photos have been done.

The list of my few remaining jobs I posted up recently is all but done, I even made a start in the shed which I said would wait till better weather. After the car boot sale next weekend, I am really going to be scratching around to find things that aren't in regular use. Now what?

I'm in the Zone today so i'm ready to tackle this place. So far i've sorted out all my rubber stamps to list on ebay (need to find turbo lister and get the hang of it), and sorted out the toiletries into 4 piles one of which is heading towards the bin any second now. I've listed my first item of the day on freecycle and i'm getting ready to list more. Boy am i on a roll, just need to keep it going.
