Fingers crossed the person from Freecylce site turns up today for the bike - OH went to the bother of dragging it out of the garage for me and he'll not be happy if it ends up going back in.
Not a great deal of other de-cluttering done (well, none if I'm totally honest) but have found out that the music shop in town buys old sheet music. I've loads that my Dad hung on to from his days as a musician so I'll take them down to the shop on Thursday.

  • Mary,

Check out the sheet music on Ebay - some of it sells really well, especially the ones from the 60's

Furrypig, give my love to Florida, we were there in October, and I've said we're not going again this year, but am already looking for cheap flights

Every year we go we say we can't afford it again but it is really such a relaxing holiday we don't normally do Disney but chill at the beach and it's great!

If we hadn't seen the half price American Airlines deal on here (MSE) we probably wouldn't have booked. Still it was our only holiday last year and it was worth it. This year we are splashing out on a Sun holiday too!!

Have decided to put the money I make from the great declutter/ebay sales towards next year so I'm very motivated!!

I had a huge box of videos and in the end (I had kept them ready to sell on ebay for over a year!) I looked at those that had sold on ebay and relised for the small amount of money I'd make if any (loads prob wouldn't sell) I gave them all to the 2nd hand shop! Mine were mostly kids so it might depend what you have.

charlies mum - the sheet music I've got is 1940's - thats when Dad was a musician. I think I'lll let the music shop have them..........all I have to do is take them down the road and they're gone.

Managed to re-file a lot of 'history' stuff about the town I was born in, It was out growing the folder it was in so thats all been changes and sorted now.
Lady came and collected the bike so thats something else out of the way.

Most are childrens ones.. but if I freecycle them they'll get car booted.. and that would annoy me.. I may have to just charity shop them I think

I've got loads of kids videos which my (nearly grown-up!) kids don't watch, but was saving them for any grandchildren lol! Is this a daft thing to do - will videos be totally obselete by then?
