    still here,
    today i've 'outed'

    bag of glass recyling
foot of recycling in the recycling bin

decided to finally do my self assessment and took the opportunity to sort though all my payroll paperwork stuff, got rid of about an inch of it which is good space in the filing cabinet. Didnt' think i really needed payslips from 10 years ago +, have sorted through the rest and put them in envelopes for each tax year so easy to get rid of as each year passes.

another step along the road to tidyness

The last bits of uniform for the 5 girls.. now I can star on the boys!! :D

P-P you have always been my favourite superhero - no one has any idea how you keep things ticking over like you do, but...! Good for you!!!

Well, Having had a minor desktop disaster in the office about two weeks ago (PSU blew),
    I have purchased:
    - 1 power supply unit to try to fix the problem ,
    - a dymo labeller to sort out the spaghetti wiring, and
    - a couple of usb to ps2 connectors for keyboards/mouse on new but cheap pc.

For disposal will be the original one I bought to fix problem from ebay was faulty and very grotty! Therefore refund requested pronto! in addition to the original one that blew in the first place!

Will be sorting out some stuff also for this weekend's freecycle jaunt. On the up side - hubby has promised me a meal out tomorrow in our sunset view restaurant!

I am determined to restore my half of the office into reasonable order tomorrow.... Hubby's is annoyingly tidy - it's usually the other way round apparently! Of course, he only has one job!

Will spend my hour of insomnia tonight labelling stuff and testing the connections on the PC I am rebuilding as a result of PSU failure!

    I think I need a life!................
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

another 2 bags of next sale stuff
2 boxes of Boots bargains.. all the freebies in the christmas present box
1 DSlite for DD5 for christmas.
How old is your dd5? My daughter who's 5yo has been playing on her brother's ds this morning, but they argued about it and am wondering whether to get her one of her own for xmas or if she's still a bit too young (she's a young 5 imo).

She will be 4 in November.. but she plays quite happily with the older ones DS's and drives them crazy.. she has a few simple games.. Dora, Barbie etc and is quite capable of doing them.

My other daughter got one last christmas just after she was 5 and she isn't a 'grown up' 5 either and she has 'Catz' for hers and never plays on anything else lol

LOL... things tick over because they have to.. I went through a phase of being too skint to be organised with birthdays, christmas and school and it nearly killed us.. no presents at the beginning of October.. shopping for 10 in 2 months.. we fell behind on other stuff etc.. so.. I decide in January (or before) what everyone is getting and buy it throughout the year.. uniform I pick up bargains when I find them

I am not a superhero.. but thank you for the compliment! xx

Question for those who use freecycle... has your group asked you to provide information such as your postcode and area???

Ours has just decided they want this information and I am not willing to disclose it.. it is to be stored on the moderators computer.. we have 3 or 4 I think.. and it won't be hard to find a single person from a postcode and I don't want to run the risk.. is this freecycle policy or our team policy??

seeing as I was the 18th member I think they have bit of a cheek asking for it after all this time TBH.. they said it is to avoid spamming but what is to stop someone giving any postcode? As for location.. that is roughly given on every post.. unless they think they are getting my address as well.. in which case I'd rather not be a member any more than give out my address to just anyone!!
