Has anyone any ideas what to do with old toys? Charity shops are reluctant to take them, and they just don't sell on ebay or at bootfairs, and the loft is full. The next jumble isn't til November, and my daughters bedroom needs a really drastic clear out right NOW!!

    What about freecycle?
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

    whoops hit send by mistake

.......is still in driveway but at least it is out of garden!

All rubble now in same spot - right in the middle of the yard -using some of it tomorrow to backfill the new foundations
Today pipes for plumbing laid, which involved digging up drive which brings me such joy cuz now I can get driveway done - 40 year old tarmac with lots and lots of weeds growing out if it - for two years I have been told - 'no point replacing drive when we are going to have to dig it up' ........so in a few weeks (when all building work done - new drive will be laid :)

    Just groceries.

    OUT:
A turtle shaped sandpit to a Freecycler. It was pretty big so I'm pleased it's gone although my daughter used to love playing in it so I was a bit sad to see it go in a way. It spent more time neglected that it was played in though so was just taking up garden space.
I'd actually decided two days ago to Freecycle it and then the lady who took it put a wanted ad on Freecycle for a sandpit so I didn't even need to advertise it. What a result!!
I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!

I seem to have a nasty habit of killing threads!

What age group are they for? Is there a local Mother and Toddler group near you? Or after-school play centre? Local hospital children's waiting room?

We were always grateful for donated toys when I ran a M&T group.
