Soapy955 there seems to be a theme going here, do the charities want things or not? whats going on I wonder?
I know, I could understand them not coming if it was raining but there wasn't a drop all day!
Well they finally took the bag at about 11am which saved me a journey to the charity shop. They didn't take next door's bag though.
Would you believe my Mum turned up yesterday with two jumpers that her neighbour's Mum had had knitted for her, but decided she didn't want. Mum thought I might want them but they are much too small for me. Well my Mum said she would leave them with me to see if I know anyone who might want them. I forgot to put them in the charity bag so now I have two jumpers that I didn't have yesterday that I have to find a new home for!!! I didn't even ask for them!!
So...
OUT: a big bag of clothes :j
IN: two jumpers!I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!

Well my husband's house sold yesterday so we are spending this weekend celebrating clearing the mortgage, so no decluttering this weekend.
I will be back on board after the weekend though! Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

The only thing is they are just two small handknitted jumpers, nothing special. I think if anyone made a special trip to pick them up they would be a bit dissappointed!!
I have a few more bits put aside for the charity shop so I will put them in the bag with them.
Does anyone know if it would be worth putting two 1990s George Michael calendars on Freecycle? Are there any die-hard fans who would be likely to want them? Or should I just stick them in the recycling bin?I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!

Soapy955 I'd try them on Freecycle first, if there are no takers they can go in the recylce bin, so nothing lost.
today OUT= nothing
IN= a yogurt maker via Freecycle"The purpose of Life is to spread and create Happiness" :j0 -

Thanks, I'll give it a go, although people might be a bit embarrassed picking up old George Michael calenders! Maybe i could offer them to that girl on Eastenders, the one who married Minty! She's a devoted fan! :rotfl:
(Before anyone says anything, I know she's not real!!)
