Hi All! Haven't been on here much recently, been a bit busy! Going Out today: 1 binbag of rubbish (so far!), and 5 Ebay parcels are to be posted. Awaiting payment for 3 more and have 7 items ending Sunday or Monday. Several things didn't sell so will be relisted this evening and on Sunday I shall list other items that I haven't got around to yet!
The Vax has been ordered and should be here Monday! :T It was funded mainly by birthday money from my family, including postage and Quidco cashback I've only ended up paying £9 myself!! Found a bargain too ... original 3 in 1 Vax with free handheld Vax Vacuum Cleaner for only £84.95 incl postage and then £5.95 back via Quidco! Same Vax without the freebie is £140 in Argos.

- Decorating clothes that are too big
- Pair of trainers that were beyond wear
- Collection of hangers
- Misc bits making this up to a bin bag of rubbish (including emptying the bins upstairs)
- 2 Videos - taken back to my brother
- NOTHING!!!
(will ignore the fact that I've brought stuff in for the past 2 days and hardly chucked anything)

Well on ebay I have 4 items which have gone up to £17.93 and have about 2 days to go now. Lots more watchers, but I won't get too excited.
On a good point though, I got nearly £80 for two of my MBA modules and have more to go. Really heavy to send though so I have been using parcels2go to send these.
Need to crack on with the office this weekend as OH's IT guy is coming Wednesday afternoon next week to kit up the office for OH to work from home and I will be mortified bringing him in here as it is!
We are planning a trip to the tip this weekend to take a few items that aren't good enough to give away. I want to load some more stuff onto turbolister for the next cheap listing day too.
Any ideas on what to do with coat hangers? I have tried to freecycle them but got no response. Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Are there any shops/launderettes/dry cleaners that offer an ironing service. They might be delighted to take them off your hands.
OK, I know that some 'charge' the customer for them, but at least they would be used rather than going to landfill.
Out: me of bed.

Maybe they don't want any more clothes as they have run out of hangers to put them on!!

I might try that too as there is a laundrette just down the road.
Its very frustrating as apparently the council doesn't recycle them either - I hate throwing stuff out that could so easily be put to use elsewhere.
Well, my ebay totals are up to £21+ with 20 hours to go. That is 7 more items gone thank goodness!
We are off to the tip this morning to dump a couple of things. Someone called early this morning and asked if they could have the TV on the driveway - it was working when we put it out but pointed out they are welcome to it but it has got wet since we put it out there! I hope it works for them, no one wanted it on freecycle frustratingly because it doesn't have scart connections, etc.
I have stripped an old chair down and plan to recover it for my hallway but need to get rid of a fridge and also a fridge freezer that is currently in the way! I also have an old leaf table, footstool and old sewing box to get rid of. I think these are freecycle candidates.
The dining room is still looking like box city! Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
