The decluttering has ground to a screaching halt - just when I needed to get more done not less :(

I never made either of my carboots last month - hubby has been really ill and I just haven't been able to leave the kids with him (not that they have been that healthy either).

That means that now, less than a week before our landlord inspection, I have a hall and bedroom full of boxes with nowhere else to put them - honestly, the postman the other day asked if we were moving again there are that many boxes around.

Think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and stick it all in the paper - won't get anywhere near what I would at a carboot, and it won't be gone in time for the inspection, but I've got to shift it soon and at least I can honestly tell the agent it's in hand.

The problem ebay sale (big piece of furniture) I said about last week has finally ended - with an NPB. Went to do a second chance to the underbidder only to find they've opted not to receive them - so now that's still stuck here too.

And to top it all, I've had conjunctivitis on and off for over 2 weeks now, and am feeling decidedly flu-ey today too.

Sorry for the whinge, but everywhere I look is a tip, and right now I just feel like giving up :(

Hi everyone, it's been a long long time since I posted on here and my decluttering has gone awry somewhat but I am just starting again: i've just chucked some hangers that none on freecylce wanted and some past -it kid's pyjamas.
My main ongoing problem is paper: bills, statments, catalogues and stuff from school. I have a filing cabinet but not everything goes in there. i'm trying to tidy up right now but I've just made more piles of stuff!

I do have a box of things in my bedroom waiting to be ebayed so I must get on with that.

Two years after moving into our house, we now have an EMPTY garage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, (isnt there always a however) it is because we are getting new roof on so that DH can move his business out of the house and into the garage!! Trust me when I tell you this is the most magnificent bit of decluttering I have ever engaged in as it was a complete s@@t heap!!
DH went to the dump 7, yes 7 times yesterday and there is more to do because we also demolished the green house (not that much demolishing was required as it was falling down)
There is still more to do - another 2 days of stuff to sort that is currently under plastic sheeting in the yard but thats ok because what has been achieved in the home of my darling obsessive hoarder is truly remarkable and now that his eye is off the ball I will get even more to the dump!!!!!!!!! Yeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhaaaaaaaawwwwww
