Still haven't made much of a dent to my stuff. Although we're not selling our house anymore, OH's got a bee in his bonnet about doing holiday letting in the summer, so I'm still up against it, another three boxes will be off to charity shop tomorrow.

I sorted out DD's room today and have halved her wardrobe. A bag of her clothes is going to the charity shop tomorrow, probably Oxfam so that I can get another £5 voucher for M&S.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
missyg - I have my insomniac moments - but its only usually once in a while. Managed to get a bit of a lie in and a good nights sleep last night (the sunshine, sea air and G&Ts helped!), so not feeling too bad today.

Well on the declutter front, I have a BIN to get out to the post office later today, plus my underwater strobe is up to £55 after one day on ebay!

I have a few more bids on smaller items, a few watchers and managed to sell the lawnmower through the local ad paper for £20 this morning.

I also put out three v old saucepans on the front drive and they were gone this morning! I was too embarassed to offer them on freecycle!

Looks like I might have a buyer for my Nokia empty box!

So, total cash from clutter in the last week (excluding Nokia box) is £83.49

The office isn't really looking much clearer sadly, so I will have to continue the work for a bit longer before I can post up a followup photo.

First time buyer couple have decided not to offer more for the house - we can't let the house go for the low price they offered, so are happy to keep on the market. Not yet heard back from Saturday viewers. We decided if the house wasn't sold by July, we would rent out to cover the majority of the mortgage if necessary.

Will look at listing some books on green metropolis this week - never tried before.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

Hi Spendless, hope your Nan is going to be OK. Bet your decorating looks fab, any chance of some pics?
Thanks for that. We are gp's tomorrow about it.

FIL was too tired to come and do finishing bits to bedroom, but when it is finished, I'll see about sorting out some pics. Am really pleased with it, everything was either bought on offer like chest of drawers from netto, or in sale like the paint which was 50% off from our closing down Focus. Curtains and duvet cover was bought 2nd hand off e-bay as ds wanted yu-gi-oh, which can no longer be found new. Carpet was a roll-end offcut, and desk and wardrobe were re-purposed from elsewhere in house. :money:
