Hello everyone, just popped in. Been neglecting thread for a while cos we have family problems, nan hearing stuff that doesn't exist! At GP's next week about it.

On the de-cluttering front. DS bedroom 99% re-decorated and done:T . Should be finished tomorrow. DD's bedroom is done 'best we can' for now. Am awaiting quote from builder about making alterations to her room, and until that is sorted, not much more I can do.

We had a space in dining room from when we altered kitchen last year and to put there, that gave me somewhere to stack the occassionally used dinnerware stuff, that was down the summerhouse and in de-cluttering summer-house, DH has an office meaning he is able to work from home occassionally,:j which was always our plan.

DH has offered to tidy up our bedroom and I'm going to let him.:D Then there's just as always the paperwork to do.:o :p

    Hi all,

Made use of my insomnia this morning and listed another 13 items on ebay, doubling my total number of items. I hope I get some bids.

No interest on freecycle for the stick blender. I will give it another day, then take it with me to OH's house and relist on his local site instead.

Will need to take some more pictures for more ebay items, but am off to bed for a couple of hours as sun is threatening to rise over the sea here!
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D

    Morning everyone

Earthmother - well done, looking forward to those after pics! :)

Mary, no need to feel guilty because you've had a flurry lately too and you've been doing GREAT! My kitchen was full of dishes and stuff I never used too, my family always seemed to pass that kind of thing onto me! Once I had a good sort out it was so worth it, it means I have more space to stock up on supermarket offers and save more money ;)

I must start using Quidco Pigpen now that my 'other' cashback site has just reached payout level ;) Still just the one bid on ebay :rotfl:

Hi Spendless, hope your Nan is going to be OK. Bet your decorating looks fab, any chance of some pics?

Blimey Angela, is being awake at that hour normal for you? Hope you get some nice sleep this morning x

Nothing in, nothing out for me all weekend.

missyg - thanks for the moral support.............I intend to make up for it when I come back from seeing Mum. I'm staying with my friend and she is oh so tidy...................lol It'll make my house seem like total pig sty by comparison...................lol So, told OH when I come back we're getting paint for kitchen cupbooards (which are now really looking depressed) -that should put us in the right area for de-cluttering them while we're at it (she says hopefully)............then I'll get the curtains shortened that I bought from the charity shop about four weeks ago for the kitchen.............lol

pigpen - keep it up with your e baying............you'll make a mint at this rate !!!!

Now, sadly today I let myself down...............European market on in town and even the charity shops opened and I sort of fell in them...........so

    Out...................nothing

In.....................two cushions (don't ask -I just thought they were pretty)
wire planter for the kitchen window sill ready for when I
    put the new curtains up
    little canvas painted picture

Spent under fiver so it wasn't too bad was it ??????

Just got to make sure I hold tightly onto my purse when I go to see Mum......there's a pound shop and a wilko there.................:rotfl:

    No.................I musn't, I musn't:eek:
    Mary

I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Hi all you buzy bees, Started to tackle the shed, hate that job. I've put 15 tins of paint and 2 hanging baskets on Freecycle, have a box of stuff for the charity shop and a stack of cardboard boxes to recycle. At least I can get to the freezer without breaking my neck. Keep up the good work ;)
