missyg - Never too late to start!

mary43 - The good thing about scrapbooks is that, if you want, you can take your time making them. Nice to hear you have old family photos, they're a scrapper's dream! (I haven't got any). If you tell me how to post photos I'll post the ones I have... :o

angela - I think your reply was excellent. How dare he! I would never sell him anything, EVER.

Fantastic ebay updates last night! Well done :D Really pleased you made your targets Nicki and Pigpen (and myself :rotfl: ).

Angela - some people are just plain rude aren't they? Unfortunately there seem to be a few who think that ebay is the online equivalent of the wild west and that they can get away with anything. At least they apologised I suppose  Hope you get a better class of buyer next time.

Hello Claire, I can certainly vouch for the fact that having less stuff around makes it a lot easier to keep on top of the normal daily jobs. I hope your operation goes smoothly.

It's a "post office run" day today, luckily not as daunting as the LARGE parcels last week, these are a lot smaller! After they're out the door I'll decide what to do about the unsold stuff :)

Not going too mad on the de-cluttering today but have sifted through some paper files and condensed what was in them into three files instead of four. The fourth one will be down the charity shop in the morning (before I decide to fill it up again...........lol)
Now there's just the miniature chest of drawers on top of the cupboard to go through and that little corner will be done.............some silk flowers in a vase up that corner look desparately in need of a good wash as well...............lol

mellika - I'm looking forward to doing my photos in a scrapbook...........making it next winters project so I have plenty oftime to think about how I want to do it.........and gather a few hints and tips about it.
I do love the old photos. Most of them are in my family tree files in the section about that particular person..........puts a face to the name and makes it more interesting to read about them. Annoying though that I have two I can't really identify...........one I think is gt.gran on Dads side -features look very similar, but the other I'm not sure and Mum has a box full of people she doesn't know who they are either but I can put them on the local history site and hope someone might know something.

I'm really interested in the scrapbooking ideas too, got a feeling there's a thread about it somewhere - will have a look and see if I can find it then post it here.
