Hi all not been here for a few weeks too busy with the new baby but have managed to put a few things on ebay. I did photograph all the 4lb5lb and 7lb baby clothes i have and just let myself keep two items from each pile, but haven't put them on ebay yet - thought it will be inundated with loads of stuff for the next wk due to free 99p listings so will put them on in a couple of weeks - that's if i can bear to see them go, but i know i have to! Not done any decluttering lately, don't seem to have much i can actually get rid of, although i'd like to!grocery challenge jan 17 £ / 350.000

I have arranged to donate a load of photographs to a military museum! Better than throwing them out as they COULD be of use to some researchers at some point.
More books gone to the local hospital and some stuff photographed ready for selling.
There will soon be a very empty space where a cluttered and untidy alcove used to be. I'm so chuffed!!

I finally have a bedroom for visitors :j :j :j
DH is just finishing it off, but it looks lovely, I am just going to sit in there later and smile
Thanks guys, it's only taken a year to get round to it, but now I have another two bedrooms to sort - stick with me, I need the encouragement :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Hi
Well done Charlies mum you are doing way better than me!!
I have 10 DVD's on ebay so at least it's a start though not sure if they will go or not though 1 has a bid!! Better than nothing! Still have to wait to get my paypal account verified before I do anything else though!0 -
Not read for ages, I'll have a catch up later.
Three bags of clothes for recycling one for friend gone today.
A boot full of stuff to tip. Bit more to get rid of. Best bit- 2 manky jumpers belonging to DH and a white tshirt he washed with his black leather trainers about 9 months ago.
I'm going to get out all of his tshirts and lay them in a pile on the bed because I honestly don't think he realises how many he has got!

Well I've done some MAJOR decluttering - my ex-OH left me last week and then came on Saturday and collected all his belongings :rotfl: So I have lost a car full of stuff (Ford Ka with the backseat down FULL
) and a person. He hasn't taken any furniture as he's living with his parents again BUT who knows, he might want a couple of things when he eventually gets his own place
He has said he'll go through his DVDs and CDs and any he doesn't want he'll pass back since we have similar taste :rotfl: House will be so empty once I've actually been through and tided things up properly
Oh, but I'm going to be adding to my clutter - I'm starting a teaching qualification & a degree in teaching so my paperwork is going to increase major style I think :rotfl::rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hi everyone, have been distracted for a while by the shabby chic thread! However, I think until I have actually cleared enough space to breathe and move without tripping over I'd better get started with decluttering.
Today I'm going to drop some books of at the charity shop and maybe go through some piles of papers that can be recycled. Only something small but maybe if I try to do a bit each day?AMAZON SELLERS CLUB MEMBER 0082 :hello:0 -
I seem to have got a bit waylaid from the decluttering this last few weeks, and nothing really has been done, but I got started again this morning.
Have an appointment at a dress agency later this week, so I've just gone through the bedroom and filled a large suitcase and holdall with stuff that hopefully they'll sell for me. Also created a carrier worth of charity shop togs, and about a dozen ebay/carboot items.
Unfortunately also found mildew in the drawers in the base of our wardrobe, so have also thrown out a fair bit too - including my best hiking boots (that admittedly haven't been used for a while - hence being in the drawer long enough to be affected), and two large rattan storage boxes that have been stood infront of said drawers for the last few monthsStrangely (and thankfully), the carpet isn't affected - just feels a bit clammy
Oh well - at least it's prompted me to clear the rest of the room out - don't want to loose any more stuff to it. So that's the job for the week (on top of youngest's 2nd birthday preparations) - I may be some time, lolDFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
Very excited I have bids on 5 of my dvd's now and people keep asking if I'll do buy it nows but have said no esp as I listed on free listing day and it said it had to be an auction so assume I should stick to that!!
Have a huge bag of books to take to 2nd hand shop, trying to be good!! But it's sat in the longe at the moment so need to shift it!! Actually I think I need to spend more time reading to get through all my books!!0
