Oh thanks Clutterfree! It's ages since I remember having a FREE listing day. Sadly I can't take advantage of this one because of the timing. I hope they do another similar next month! :D

4 binbags gone to charity shop this morning.. hubby took 2 and as some were quite light I took another 2 at the same time.. I also palmed a pair of trainers on my sister.. bless her.. lol

I have a fisherprice garage to put on freecycle today and maybe a couple of other bits of toys and stuff.. I'm trying to fill a bag of baby toys to freecycle.. it is hard as I got rid of most when we moved house. All the dollies are going too apart from the Annabells and Lucy's. I have some cars and dressing up things to go to nursery and a little bike thing too, and an ancient teletubbies scooter.

Oh.. 2 rolls of lavendar blackout fabric.. there looks to be about 3 or 4 metres on each of them.. nope.. I can't use them, I just thinked about it! (will send free for postage if anyone wants some?)

I think I am becoming obsessed!

Why not make shopping bags out of them? Simple patterns available here http://www.morsbags.com/ couldn't be simpler! I have loads of fabric leftover from this n that so will be making some for shopping, but also think they'd make nice presents - hey, and they're free!!!!!!

Have taken 3 big binbags full of more clothes to the recycle bin at the tip (goes to the British Heart Foundation charity shop) and can now remove clothes from my wardrobe without risking health!

Just have the huge pile on the bed to go through now. Feeling pleased with progress.:A

Not done much decluttering and this thread seems to be slowling down so perhaps I'm not the only one!  :D Or else you are all too busy decluttering to come on here! :p
Still, I have kept the living room clutter free and clean and tidy for a whole week which is a HUGE achievement for me with 2 young boys! :T
My ironing is still up to date - except for one small load of washing from yesterday (well a full load actually but most is socks, etc so non-iron) and some bedding which is currently drying. Hope to tackle that tonight.

Need to check out EBay and see if PS2 & GBA games are included in the free listing day and if so my sons can have a clear out.

Now I am armed with 2 empty bin bags - one for charity and one to chuck and I am off to clear the office of junk as it is bin day tomorrow and I still have space in the wheelie bin! :j

    clutterfree,
You seem to be doing very well. I have been trying to declutter my craft stuff but am finding it really difficult. Am determined to get there eventually.
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

Thanks Vivw but no, I'm really not! :rotfl:
I have so much to sort but I shall get there eventually.
I am, just sick of all the "stuff" we have around here. The boys rooms are overflowing with it too. If I can get of some of their stuff on Ebay I am sure the ££ signs will encourage them to declutter! :D

Thanks for that redspecs.. my sisters would love those for christmas.. I'll give it some thought!

Right.. 2 garages on freecycle.. one has a taker and waiting to hear back from the other.. I've also out a bunch of fleece cotbed blankets on there..

I have still got about 20 boxes of toys to sift through in the middle room but hubby and I have decided pretty much what is going to be done in there.. I can't decide if it would be best to put a dado up to break the walls into shorter bits.. it is 8ft to the picture rail.. aahhhh decisions decisions!!

I have dado rails and picture rails. Lots and lots and lots of dusting and you need a ladder!

Wee de-cluttering moan - so you put out all your re-cycling and this week you have a lot because you've been de-cluttering and it wont all fit in the council provided re-cycle bins so you put all the cardboard inside a cardboard box for the re-cycley people to take.

But do they take it? No. They leave it saying they couldn't take it as it wasn't in the appropriate re-cycley box
