    congratulations on the ebay totals.
I've not done anything decluttering today in fact, quite the opposite, went to a crop and ended up buying some things which was on sale. I will make up for it though i promise. And i'll get some things listed on ebay to cover how much i spent.

We have finally decluttered the bedroom I have allocated for my DGD when she comes to stay :j Why on earth we still had some of the c*ap in there, I have no idea. DH was still trying to rescue things as I was slinging them into bin bags :D

    Now the decorating starts :T

I was hoping to work my way through the middle room today and bag up the toys to go and box the toys to stay.. but my manflu is worse and i have a headache to boot and I almost broke my neck inthe pub last night slipping on spilled beer in 4 inch heels is NOT recommended as my hips are killing today.. :(

I have to sort through the ebay stuff so I'll do that and I need a few bits from shop so I'll send DD1 and I'll see what else I can fling!

I sorted a binbag of shoes to go on Friday.

I need to list some other bits on freecycle.. not sure i have found anything yet though lol

pigpen it's MOTHERS DAY so even if you weren't feeling rough is is against the law to do any decluttering today ! Consider yourself told off ! :naughty: So be kind to yourself and take it easy and enjoy YOUR day. XX El

  • Is it illegal today? Then I'm in trouble - we're going through DS's toys but as a family "thing" so in short bursts and with "serious fun" in mind.

Hello everyone, can I join in????

I've been lurkin for a wee while now and I've got so much clutter to get rid of. My house is a 3 bed terraced house and I've had a lot of work done in the past few weeks. new bthroom, replace old central heatong for new and tomorrow (today ) my old kitchen gets ripped and replace with new.

Today, I now have the old bathroom and central heating outside the front of the house waiting to go to the tip and over the next few days I'll have a kitchen out in my back garden to go to the tip.

After lurking, Ive registered on freecycle, but would anybody really want an old bathroom suite thats been outside for about 2 weeks ????

I was goin to hire a van next weekend and just take everything to the tip........kitchen is years old and will probly fall apart , mebbe the sink can be salvaged

Do you think anyone would be interested in probly 20 year old radiators???

Thanx in anticipation for any replies

When we ripped out our kitchen I was spared from having to get the sink to the tip by the scrap metal men who came and asked for it. It saved me a trip and made them some money so that's alright innit!
Not done any decluttering for a while- busy working.
Need to pull my finger out pretty sharpish when I get home because DH hasn't even got a uniform ready for DD so will have to do that in the morning. I also have to get the BM on and make sure her lunch is done.
I think I'll ring them before work and tell them to get up so they're not late and DH can get some washing on then.
Then when I get home I can do a bit of ironing and he can take DD to school. That gives me 1/2 hour extra for ironing before DS has to be at school so I can get a whole basket done in that time and DH won't be late for work if he leaves on time.
I can then get the spuds peeled for tea before I go to bed at 9.30.
If I plan it right and he's willing to help then there's a chance that I could get quite a bit done today without too much effort. My main thing is taxi duty- it takes so much time!

Just wondering there - as I have seen old radiators used in "alternative energy" context. As in - being a part of getting some solar power. Think I saw ones painted black used in helping to get some hot water didnt I on that tv programme - "Its not Easy Being Green" - about that family who took over a wreck of a farmhouse and are trying to do things in a "green" sort of way.

Good morning all! For some insane reason srting decluttering the book shelf yesterday and now have piles of books on the floor to sort through!!

Still one big pile is a pile to go so that can't be bad!

Must do some basic cleaning today too as house has got very dusty while we've been away

Then I'm gonna study more on ebay selling think I will start with DVD's and see how they go (should be easy to list too....I hope!)

Have a tin to save for holiday for nest year (has 50p in it so far!) and that's what my ebay money is going for!

    Have great days everyone xxx
