There is certainly lots to appreciate on EarthDay, even when it's grey and cold!

Move north if you wish, but we have far fewer T's than you do in the south!

The Voice - hope this isn't going to turn into the judges now picking the 'prettiest, thinest, youngest' contestants.

    I hope so too.

The best thing about the voice is that they are all real talents.

X Factor is just a total farce. Some contestants remain purely for ratings:mad:

Another good plus for The Voice is NO SIMON COWELL:T

I think Bo and Jazz are the best I've seen so far. Lovin it:T

    Morning all
Just reading back from last night. No T's for me, cba. Up at 6.15 with DS wanting to get up. 20 mins paddy from him until I bribed him to get back into bed until I came for him later. Surprisingly, he went back until 715 - a much more manageable time for me. I'm not like Westleveteran at all I'm afraid.

So bit a peace and quiet whilst he's riding his trike up and down the hallway/kitchen. But he has nicked my laptop mouse (it's a green turtle) to take for a ride in his bike
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

    Hello everyone.

Can I make a few observations about the behaviour of some of the people on this thread as it flies in the face of everything MSE. Maybe it is acceptable for Tesco to be regarded as fair game but what about the " trouts" who work there. What an awful way to describe people. These are somebody's mothers, daughters and sons. Quite rightly they should show a degree of loyalty to the company that pays their wages. What about the young Saturday worker who you target for multiple coupon hits who gets a bollocking at the end of his shift for maybe taking coupons he should not have done but feels under pressure to do so by someone who is maybe more articulate or forceful than he is.
Do you ever feel guilty about the queues standing behind you as you argue over a DTD and the manager is called. The office worker who has to leave her stuff and go as she only has 30mins for her lunch break or the mum with the crying baby. You will argue that customer service tills should be better staffed but why? Not just to look after YOU surely. Don't even get me on to returned food items!

You cannot surely be short sighted enough to think that your comments are isolated in a bubble. There are thousands of people reading your comments and it won't be long before tesco ditches DTD, JTD and tightens up on coupon acceptance. This means that you will have spoilt things for the vast majority who try to work within the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law. Most people have a few coupons in their purse and wallet and are happy with this. Why do some of you have to be so greedy. Do you NEED cupboards full of batteries and Wrights flour and DVD's and well, where do I stop.....

Please try not to be greedy or unkind to people. Most people are just trying to get by.
    Hope this makes you think.

    what a complete load rubbish.......

I know it's no defence but I'm sure the trouts use colourful enough names for us when we leave the store. Plus its easier to say "trout" than "sour faced sales assistant who acted like they owned the company and refused to give me the refund which I ws entitled to under the companys own policy"

If he is doing wrong by accepting so many coupons then he should get training. If all T's staff were appropriately trained and consistent then there would be no need to pick your SA

No. We shouldn't have to argue. If we do then it is another example of T's staff being improperly trained and lacking in consistency. They should know their company policy and follow it

I've claimed DTD on my lunch break before and i had to wait behind someone. I didn't mind and if I had to leave i would have just gone back after work

or the mum with the crying baby.

I've also claimed DTD with a 10 month old baby in tow. She started crying when I was disputing an overcharge on some yoghurts (genuine overcharge, not one that I went into the store with the intention of getting) When she started crying I actually left the counter and said I would come back. I did this because I thought it was more important I attend to my DD than deal with the SA. So, no. I dont feel guilty if there is a child crying behind me because the fact they are in the queue and not being served means that their parent can take action to soothe them

No, to look after us, people on their lunch breaks, mothers with children, etc.

    OK

Everyone is well aware. They already got rid of R&R, DTD on price check, acceptance of competitors MOCs.

I haven't bought any batteries and I only got 4 packs of Wrights bread mix beore the details came out about the coupon being for charity. I stopped using the coupon, made a donation to charity and have since bought more bread mix as I enjoyed making my own bread. Something I'll admit I had never done before and probably wouldn't have done if it wasn't for the coupon. But then that is why they give out coupons is it not? To tempt new customers?

It made me think but it didn't make me feel guilty if that was your intention
