    [QUOTE=Earthday;
    Do you ever feel guilty about the queues standing behind you as you argue over a DTD and the manager is called. The office worker who has to leave her stuff and go as she only has 30mins for her lunch break or the mum with the crying baby. You will argue that customer service tills should be better staffed but why? Not just to look after YOU surely. Don't even get me on to returned food items!

    Why do some of you have to be so greedy. Do you NEED cupboards full of batteries and Wrights flour and DVD's and well, where do I stop.....

    Please try not to be greedy or unkind to people. Most people are just trying to get by.
    Hope this makes you think.[/QUOTE]
    Ooh Sunday morning and a battle has begun....
    Instead of being a friend of Martin's, are you a friend of Mark Tillers?! :rotfl:;)

    Hello everyone.

    Can I make a few observations about the behaviour of some of the people on this thread as it flies in the face of everything MSE. Maybe it is acceptable for Tesco to be regarded as fair game but what about the " trouts" who work there. What an awful way to describe people. These are somebody's mothers, daughters and sons. Quite rightly they should show a degree of loyalty to the company that pays their wages. What about the young Saturday worker who you target for multiple coupon hits who gets a bollocking at the end of his shift for maybe taking coupons he should not have done but feels under pressure to do so by someone who is maybe more articulate or forceful than he is.

    You cannot surely be short sighted enough to think that your comments are isolated in a bubble. There are thousands of people reading your comments and it won't be long before tesco ditches DTD, JTD and tightens up on coupon acceptance. This means that you will have spoilt things for the vast majority who try to work within the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law. Most people have a few coupons in their purse and wallet and are happy with this. Why do some of you have to be so greedy. Do you NEED cupboards full of batteries and Wrights flour and DVD's and well, where do I stop.....

    i am all for freedom of speech... but as a newbie, you should realise there is some great hardship in this country at the minute. Some of laugh and joke about our finds but that it is because we don't want to be woe is me all the time. If i stock up on something from a glitch etc it is so that i can save for flat in london on my less than average wage. The dvds will be pressies for birthdays. I don't get anything from anyone( except my sis) so get off your high horse. I pay for everything from my wage for the last 15 years. i have never had one penny from the state. And i'm 34 to put it into context.

    I am never on this site complaining but would you kindly think before you speak. You do not know what people are going through. And by the way if you had read this forum properly you would know that others have donated their freebies to food banks and orphanages.

    My life is working 43 hours a week, doing my ou degree and saving for my flat. Do i deserve a few bargains here and there. Maybe if i starved and carried living in one room that would satisfy you???:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    I think it is easy to call someone a troll simply because they challenge you or disagree with your views.

    disagree, you are the 1st person on this site to get me this angry. I was understating th hardship i have had in my life and am proud of my achievements. You have insulted hard working savvy people as greedy. Calling you a troll is polite:mad:

    So who is Earthday really folks?? Why would someone come on this thread as a Newbie with a post that is going to cause so much comment?

    Not the usual type of Newbie posting?

    So, guesses to the ID of Earthday? (polite answers only please)
