I must now force myself to do some gardening, although it's really cold and rather breezy. It's green waste recycling collection day tomorrow and I do want to fill the bin up. I'm going to cut all my daffodils right down to two or three inches as they've finished flowering. I know you shouldn't really do this, but I've been doing this to them for 10 years and they've all multiplied and have lots of flowers on.0

 Hello again everyone - those from the original 11+, those who have joined since, and those 'lurkerss'! I know you are out there because I came back and have been one for about 2 weeks now.....
I am on the 'list' as I have seen it quoted as, but haven't been around for personal reasons.... I was on and off here before because of issues I just wasn't able to deal with, but lets just hope all that is now at an end now the person I blame for it all is out of both my and my sons life, hopefully for good!!!! Yes it makes mebut I think life can't go anywhere but up now!
Times have been rough, money has been tight, and I have been glad to get some help from you lot on here, and I want to thank you all for that.... and now I have signed in, I better start hitting that 'thanks' button again!
I noticed someone last night mention and ask about the £5 meal range, I used to get them deals quite often, but I haven't seen any for quite some time..... Anyway, the recipes are on Mr T.s RealFood page.... along with details of the 'new' Value Range..... thought i'd make my appearance and post the link as I haven't seen anyone else put it on.....

Hope everyone is having a good day, whatever issues you may be dealing with.... for me, everything is getting better very slowly and one day at a time...... I need to now kick myself up the back side and start posting on here again!
Welcome back Elsie, hope you and your gorgeous Cookie cat are well.0 -

I can imagine the smoking causing some residual damage, just seems odd that it now rears its head 7 years after I quit. Assuming thats what it is of course.
From what I understand the lungs are an organ that doesn't heal itself i.e once tissue is damaged it doesn't regenerate. This was what my father in law was told when he was diagnosed with emphysema, that stopping smoking wouldnt undo the damage done but stopping would stop any further damage. But he was a very heavy smoker from teens until diagnosed in his mid 40s.0 -

I planted some in tubs out the front which have finished flowering but the leaves haven't started to die back yet. I want to put some pansies in which I got for 60p a tray in T's on Saturday but was reluctant to do it in case I stopped the daffs flowering next year.
Would it be better to lift them out, dry them off and store in the shed to plant in the autumn or should I do the same as Heatherlea? Any advice appreciated TIAMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Was going to ask for advice on my car problems, having second thoughts.
