    Results of cholesterol now in...6.8

Still no explanation for the shortness of breath though. Doc says one of the blood tests he did would show a weak heart and all was ok. I suggested COPD from all the years I smoked even though I gave up 7 years ago.

We are investigating that avenue now and spirograph test booked for 16th may.

Why does everything take so loooong though? :(

Have they done chest x rays to see if your lungs are clear? My m-i-l was a life time smoker but gave up several years before but it still affected her lungs.

 Hello again everyone - those from the original 11+, those who have joined since, and those 'lurkerss'! I know you are out there because I came back and have been one for about 2 weeks now.....
I am on the 'list' as I have seen it quoted as, but haven't been around for personal reasons.... I was on and off here before because of issues I just wasn't able to deal with, but lets just hope all that is now at an end now the person I blame for it all is out of both my and my sons life, hopefully for good!!!! Yes it makes me :( but I think life can't go anywhere but up now!

Times have been rough, money has been tight, and I have been glad to get some help from you lot on here, and I want to thank you all for that.... and now I have signed in, I better start hitting that 'thanks' button again! :D

I noticed someone last night mention and ask about the £5 meal range, I used to get them deals quite often, but I haven't seen any for quite some time..... Anyway, the recipes are on Mr T.s RealFood page.... along with details of the 'new' Value Range..... thought i'd make my appearance and post the link as I haven't seen anyone else put it on.....

    http://www.tescorealfood.com/our-food/tesco-value-range.html

Hope everyone is having a good day, whatever issues you may be dealing with.... for me, everything is getting better very slowly and one day at a time...... I need to now kick myself up the back side and start posting on here again! :o

Good to see you back, I think being on the thread helps you realise that most people have struggles whether its a health or relationship one and that you are not alone. Hope !!!!!cat is okay, sorry can't remember her name & you & your son get your lives back, tiny steps you'll get there

Mine just arrived. What the hell do I do with that? More like 10 years supply, I'm a rather reluctant cleaner :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Glad yours arrived too. I'm over the moon with it. It won't last me very long by the time my family have some.

Well done on such good savings. I got some amazing bargains also in Mr A yesterday, just half an hour before closing. It's the first time I've hit it for final reductions. There were steak and kidney pies and minced beef and onion pies for 2p each (individual size portions), prawns were reduced from £3.50 to 25p, 2 slices of water melon for 1p, chicken pasta salad for 20p, ready to roast veg 20p and baby bananas for 10p a bunch.

Myself and another lady had been patiently waiting knowing that it looked like the prices were going to drop way down..... we politely took a couple of each each, before the hoards who were rudely trying to elbow in from behind dived in for the rest...... I felt like turning round and shouting 'Is there any possibility of forming an orderly queue in order of when you got here and how long you have been waiting???!!!' Neither of us in any way 'grabbed' the lot, but it didn't mean were weren't battered and bashed about.... I couldn't deal with that very often! Good on those of you that do, I hope the bruises aren't too bad!

Just thinking about T's new V range and the reductions on pasta etc. If the old V range is ending could they be clearing all V products with the old label on at reduced prices. Is the reduced pasta just the beginning will the mushy peas be 4p before the new range is the only V range in stock ?
Just a thought or wishful thinking

Someones cleaned out the old stock of value New Potatoes in my local, they aren't even reduced, there were loads last week  The value sweetcorn can't be good the shelf is ram as is the 8p mushy peas

Yep doc had a real good listen to my lungs and said they were clear and sent me for an xray to confirm.

I can imagine the smoking causing some residual damage, just seems odd that it now rears its head 7 years after I quit. Assuming thats what it is of course.

Thats what I voted & I have to say I think the new packaging is very old fashioned, rebranding just makes me
