    Morning all!

Just checking my JTD/voucher shop is correct and I've given up on the JTD this week however.....

Mullerlight 6pks are now only £1 a pack (£2 A's) according to mysupermarket which means using the price flop voucher, you could get 24 for £3, that's 12.5p each! :money: And they're free for those on SW :D

Very good value but if I buy that much yogurt, there is no space for anything else in my fridge.

One of my favourites is the misuse of the word 'literally'.

"It was awful, I literally died of embarrassment..."

    Really?

Agree, although I did smile at "Wayne Rooney is literally on fire!" the other day. Well, someone put him out then :)

Well, we never got down to car boot after all :o By the time the District Nurse had been and we watched a little more of the cricket, Alan was too tired to go out, so he went for a nap. I let him sleep, although he'd said he'd only have an hour. Then I felt zonked out too, so I went to bed at 3.30pm and he got up and watched the end of the day's cricket which I had Sky+'d for him. He woke me at 5.30 pm and I'd had a lovely deep sleep :D

We went out at 7.15pm to the party at our friends' who run the car boot cafe - it was to celebrate exactly 2yrs since they took over the cafe and they have done so well there, opening it up 6 days a week instead of just car boot days, and they do lovely food too :D Anyway, Alan just about managed half a can of 1664 lager  and had curry & rice and some b-b-q ribs, but he got tired very quickly and I had to get him home. Still, it was an hour and a half in the company of our friends so he had a good natter and feed, so it was good for him. He stayed up for an hour when we got back, watching The Masters golf, but had to go to bed in the end as he was shattered

Still, we enjoyed our day :j and I am finally off to bed now so I will wish you all a very good night - sleep well :money:

3dogs, that sounds like a perfectly delightful day! I'm so pleased that you are both resting when necessary but also spending quality time with each other and friends :)
'Duvet days' can be quite a tonic when coupled with an easy throw in the oven meal and lots of cuddles.

Hope today proves to be just as pleasant :)

    Hello lovelies :)

Hope you're all ok and have enjoyed the start of the long weekend.

I'd be most grateful if someone could fill me in if I've missed anything in the last couple of days please :A xx

My night out was a complete and utter disaster! :( I was well enough to go but I so wish I hadn't bothered! Kadison how was your night out with the girls? Did you manage to go?

    I see Wool's back :hello::T

How's Nikki doing? I hope Nannylala has continued to post :T

    Love to 3Dogs :A

Thought I would share pics of the Easter nest I made. This is the 2nd go, I think the first ones were better! :( I think I added too much butter so it was too gooey and sticky but it did set in the end and hold it's shape (for now atleast!!) and I had more sweets on the last ones....while I still had smarties and cadbury snow bites....don't know where the others could have possibly disappeared to :o:o:o:rotfl:

Anyway you get the idea :p

    And all wrapped up :)

    WOW!!

Any child would be over the moon to receive such a package for ANY occasion! Thanks for the inspiration. Such a thrifty but personal gift :T

    Go, Fudge Cake!!!:T

Well told my mum about the baby last night. Starting to wish I hadn't bothered. She wouldn't even look at me. In fact she completely blanked me, continued to watch her tv programme, and I got a very quiet 'congratulations' amongst a 'we're on holiday then'.

Am feeling so let down this morning. But tbh I didn't expect anything other than disgust or contempt from her.

My partner and I aren't well off. So in her mind we can't afford to have another child. Therefore we're being stupid etc....

Am going to have to let her stew for a while to see if the tune changes. Got to hang onto the fact that my 5 year old is over the moon, my sister is pleased as punch, as are friends. If she wants to be grumpy about it, then she can be grumpy on her own.

I do hope she comes round....perhaps my sister can help there. She has the correct hormonal balance to say things in the right way .... without bursting into tears. If I tried to say anything I'd be in bits in a second. I burst into floods at the smallest and daftest thing.

Will give her time and will see what happens.
