Right, back from T's, didn't get another £5 off £40 till spit because I worked it out wrong, I thought the knives things would still count as over £40 as they were £57.** before vouchers but £29.** after, which comes off as multibuy not voucher - d'oh!

Oh well, I got the £5 off £40 one I had through bringing it down to £52.**, then the knife vouchers brought it down to £29.** and then......

    £1 off wys £4 on yoghurts (in this case 4 x 6pk mullerlights £1 each :D)
50p off velvet (9pk quilted loo roll)
2 x huggies free carry pack vouchers
    50p off twinings tea
    £2 off Huggies

So after all that, I got two great knives, 20 mint teabags, 2 lots of shower curtain rings rtc, 24 mullerlights, 9 rolls of loo roll, 72 sz 3 nappies and 12 XL boys pull-ups all for................how much?

Is what I'm trying to do. But in my current hormonal state she's really hit me hard. I didn't expect anything different from her if I'm honest with myself. But I really hoped that she'd find a place in her heart to try and be happy.

I'm walking around in daze at the moment and on Sunday I have to face her again. Right now I don't want to look at her. But we'll see how my feelings change over the day.

Am holding a lot in right now. Hopefully it will stay there....although knowing me it will burst through at some point.

    Congrats on your news :T
Try not to let your mum ruin how you feel about your new baby, just think of how happy you, your OH and your DD are.
I've found that if I write down what's anoying me it makes me feel a little better and allows me to vent a little. It may not make you feel a lot better but allows some of the anger out so you may not explode at the right or wrong person and really say something you later regret

Dyserth Falls is really easy to get too, head to the main road from Haven and take a right then follow the road to Prestatyn until you get to a Peugeot garage on the left. Take a left there and follow the road for about 2 miles (you will pass the top of Prestatyn High St) the road does have a few tight turns (one over a little bridge so be careful!) then eventually you will come to a dip in the road where the speed is 40, you will see a complex on the left calls Dyserth Falls Complex (I think) with a fountain infront of in. Go past here and take the next left, you will see The New Inn on your right, you can park here if you use the pub or you can park by the falls which are a bit further up the hill. Think they charge about 50p to go to the falls but its well worth it.

Rhuddlan Castle is also nice, go back onto the main road you came off, going left instead of right and follow the road until you come to a roundabout, go straight over it, this is Rhuddlan, which is a lovely village to walk through and the is a castle at the other end of the High St, my advice would be to park up and wander, there is also a Table Table pub and a few other nice pubs there.

then there is At Asaph, which is the smallest city in europe, its lovely on a nice day. It has a lovely river to walk by and a cathedral. If you wish to go here, carry on heading through Rhuddlan and you will come to a big roundabout, take the 1 exit and you will be on a dual carriagway, you will come to another rounbabout, go over the roundabout and you are in St Asaph. If you wish to park here, there is a loveyl pub called The Plough which you will see on your left (big carpark) or you can carry on to the mini roundabout and take first exti you will see a play park on your left there is a pay and display car park there (charge about 20p for an hour). the cathedral is at the top of the hill.

Talacre is worth visiting for the lighthouse on the beach. (Just before the Preststyn turn. Ditto the Crown Inn - carvery is something ridiculous - about 3.98 each!

The New Inn at Dyserth was fantastic.

Anglesey - Penmon Priory and then pay the car park fee to drive upto the top - fantastic views/photography/bird watching etc.

All of the above were courtesy of 'kristi' a couple of years ago when we stayed at Prestatyn.

'She' suggested these ideas when I asked for stuff on the area and in particular, things to photograph (OH's hobby).

There was also a large outlet shopping place nearby, although we didn't visit it.
    HTH.

Back to try and catch up - again.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Thanks so much MKS
We've been to Dyserth Falls, we did the circular walk, was lovely apart from being chased by some crazy bullocks! I have a terrible phobia of cows so that wasn't a great experience :o but the falls were brilliant and the walk was really lovely, some great views.

I will have a look at the other places you mentioned, sounds great, thanks a lot and thanks to Kristi too! :D

rchddap1 - Sorry to hear your mum's being so nasty about it but at the end of the day, she will miss out and if she feels like that maybe your new baby will be better off without that negative influence. I hope she comes round because you deserve to be happy xxx
Very good value but if I buy that much yogurt, there is no space for anything else in my fridge.

They can be frozen to make sorbets if you have room in the freezer....

Be careful with these, I think they're £1 in certain stores. I remember people complaining on HUKD that they were £2 in most stores. :rotfl:

This link may give you an idea of the price in your local: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A29523465

Coming up as £1 for me. :D

They are £1 in my local. They are out of the fruit ones but the hint of choc ones are plentiful and you can find some toffee/vanilla if you look hard enough ;)

Quick question before I head out...

Do multibuy offers compare? e.g. happy eggs, box of 6 large are £1.95 at T's, and £1.90 (2for £2) at A's.

    Thanks!

ps my sis got trouted in WHSmith, told by several SA's conflabbing that the greetings card deal was over-think they may have thought she was me, looks just like me, anyone got this deal today to confirm this is a fib pls?

hi Celebrate...not sure if anyones answered you yet as I'm still catching up :rotfl: but I went to Smiths yesterday and the deal was most definately still on! I'm now in league with BlondyNurse (I think it was Blondy anway!) :)

And have successfully trained 3 SAs into doing it with just one promo card...putting the £15 on, then deducting the balance owed, then doing it again etc so that I dont end up with loads of promo cards :rotfl:

For me this has been the most successful glitch....and little and often (like Leenie did with the OEP!!) seems to be the trick for me!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

This really highlights the poor education system in this country.

I did A level maths and would have considered it one of my better subjects but we never covered the concept of BODMAS.

Just asked my DS1 about this as he is doing A level Maths and Further Maths and he said BODMAS or BIDMAS (???) applies to the sum. Lost me to be perfectly honest, I just saw the last x0 and said the answer was 0. He has tried to explain why I am wrong.
