    Ooh thanks Snap-ant!
I'm looking forward to going even more now :D It really didn't bother me much last time as I said, we were out from around 9am unti 10pm ish each day but it would have been nice to come back to somewhere clean and less smelly!

Any places you can recommend visiting whilst there? We'll have the OH's DS who is 5 years old with us this time. :rotfl:

Ah yes, been to Abergele T's a fair few times but this was before I'd found this thread

ps: if anyone wants to add me on FB so I can thank them - magicyowen is the name ;-)

Dyserth Falls is really easy to get too, head to the main road from Haven and take a right then follow the road to Prestatyn until you get to a Peugeot garage on the left. Take a left there and follow the road for about 2 miles (you will pass the top of Prestatyn High St) the road does have a few tight turns (one over a little bridge so be careful!) then eventually you will come to a dip in the road where the speed is 40, you will see a complex on the left calls Dyserth Falls Complex (I think) with a fountain infront of in. Go past here and take the next left, you will see The New Inn on your right, you can park here if you use the pub or you can park by the falls which are a bit further up the hill. Think they charge about 50p to go to the falls but its well worth it.

Rhuddlan Castle is also nice, go back onto the main road you came off, going left instead of right and follow the road until you come to a roundabout, go straight over it, this is Rhuddlan, which is a lovely village to walk through and the is a castle at the other end of the High St, my advice would be to park up and wander, there is also a Table Table pub and a few other nice pubs there.

then there is At Asaph, which is the smallest city in europe, its lovely on a nice day. It has a lovely river to walk by and a cathedral. If you wish to go here, carry on heading through Rhuddlan and you will come to a big roundabout, take the 1 exit and you will be on a dual carriagway, you will come to another rounbabout, go over the roundabout and you are in St Asaph. If you wish to park here, there is a loveyl pub called The Plough which you will see on your left (big carpark) or you can carry on to the mini roundabout and take first exti you will see a play park on your left there is a pay and display car park there (charge about 20p for an hour). the cathedral is at the top of the hill.

Talacre is worth visiting for the lighthouse on the beach. (Just before the Preststyn turn. Ditto the Crown Inn - carvery is something ridiculous - about 3.98 each!

The New Inn at Dyserth was fantastic.

Anglesey - Penmon Priory and then pay the car park fee to drive upto the top - fantastic views/photography/bird watching etc.

All of the above were courtesy of 'kristi' a couple of years ago when we stayed at Prestatyn.

'She' suggested these ideas when I asked for stuff on the area and in particular, things to photograph (OH's hobby).

There was also a large outlet shopping place nearby, although we didn't visit it.
    HTH.

Back to try and catch up - again.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning all!

Just checking my JTD/voucher shop is correct and I've given up on the JTD this week however.....

Mullerlight 6pks are now only £1 a pack (£2 A's) according to mysupermarket which means using the price flop voucher, you could get 24 for £3, that's 12.5p each! :money: And they're free for those on SW :D

Be careful with these, I think they're £1 in certain stores. I remember people complaining on HUKD that they were £2 in most stores. :rotfl:

This link may give you an idea of the price in your local: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/SpecialOffers/SpecialOfferDetail/Default.aspx?promoId=A29523465

Coming up as £1 for me. :D

Is what I'm trying to do. But in my current hormonal state she's really hit me hard. I didn't expect anything different from her if I'm honest with myself. But I really hoped that she'd find a place in her heart to try and be happy.

I'm walking around in daze at the moment and on Sunday I have to face her again. Right now I don't want to look at her. But we'll see how my feelings change over the day.

Am holding a lot in right now. Hopefully it will stay there....although knowing me it will burst through at some point.
Well, I guess it is very difficult and frustrating at some point, but I completely understand how you feel. Just keep reminding yourself, that the most important thing is to look well after yourself and the small little creature you have inside of you.
You can try not to waste your emotions on you mum, I am sure that her feelings will change, especially when everyone around you is so happy:) She'll find this place - you'll see:)

Now off to Mr.T to wish him Happy Easter:D
