I can confirm the clip strip love hearts (76g) are still 12p

Also found some 108g tubes of the samelove hearts down to 25p (its not the yard long box, think stocking filler size)

Last bargain today. 100g nest of valentine chocolate hearts is now 25p

I wonder how far off these are from being 1p

    Oh, and good morning!

Well told my mum about the baby last night. Starting to wish I hadn't bothered. She wouldn't even look at me. In fact she completely blanked me, continued to watch her tv programme, and I got a very quiet 'congratulations' amongst a 'we're on holiday then'.

Am feeling so let down this morning. But tbh I didn't expect anything other than disgust or contempt from her.

My partner and I aren't well off. So in her mind we can't afford to have another child. Therefore we're being stupid etc....

Am going to have to let her stew for a while to see if the tune changes. Got to hang onto the fact that my 5 year old is over the moon, my sister is pleased as punch, as are friends. If she wants to be grumpy about it, then she can be grumpy on her own.

I do hope she comes round....perhaps my sister can help there. She has the correct hormonal balance to say things in the right way .... without bursting into tears. If I tried to say anything I'd be in bits in a second. I burst into floods at the smallest and daftest thing.

Will give her time and will see what happens.

My parents are the same. I have just come to the conclusion they are not worth my time and effort anymore. My mum says the most awful things about me, sometimes I wonder if they are actually my parents. I have a brother and sister as well and they are fine with them. I have 2 kids that they rarely ask about, but they are old enough to realise what they are like now.

You have your family now. They are the most important people now. Congrats on your news. Don't let your mum ruin it for you.:j

    It's 0 ;):D

    The answer is 15
   .
However like most, we all had forgot BODMAS.

Well done to all who got it right :T

This really highlights the poor education system in this country.

I did A level maths and would have considered it one of my better subjects but we never covered the concept of BODMAS.

    Good morning All:))

A long day ahead for me - I'm taking my DS&DD to T's to buy some treats, after we'll be back home to paint the eggs and bake hot cross buns&"kozunak". I have to clean the house after, since some good old friends are coming tomorrow:)

    rchddap1,
Hugs to you! I know it's hard to face such a reaction ( or better to say the lack of it), but sometimes people react in different ways, so give her the time to understand what you have told her.

:rotfl:Love that you edited due to grammar :rotfl:

Edited to add - Is everyone now reading all posts thouroughly for spelling and grammar mistakes or is that just me? (Mine not included :rotfl:)

Is what I'm trying to do. But in my current hormonal state she's really hit me hard. I didn't expect anything different from her if I'm honest with myself. But I really hoped that she'd find a place in her heart to try and be happy.

I'm walking around in daze at the moment and on Sunday I have to face her again. Right now I don't want to look at her. But we'll see how my feelings change over the day.

Am holding a lot in right now. Hopefully it will stay there....although knowing me it will burst through at some point.

And "inconvenience". I've seen that hand written incorrectly so often (when tills go down, cards aren't acccepted, toilets don't work, etc)

I went for a bag of chips last night and had to laugh at so many errors on the shop's board.

I was tempted to order "freid chiken with side slad and extra onoins" for a laugh but opted for my chips instead.

    Good morning everyone :)

I am very excited this morning as I came down to the kitchen to see my pepper seeds are starting to sprout! :j I'd almost given up hope on them! My OH thinks I am off my rocker getting so excited over seeds! I probably am, but it's so lovely when they all start to grow.
At the moment I have my cucumber, tomato and sweetcorn plants growing nicely on the windowsill - sweetcorn seedlings are soooo cute but everyone seems to think I've lost my marbles! :rotfl:

Anyway, thanks Snap-ant for the suggestions of where to go. I've been to the Great Orme mines, we didn't manage to do the cable cars, but looking at the pics I think we may have to settle for the tram as I may well freak out being that high
I totally lost it when we were in the mines, there was no one else around and my OH was messing around and wanting me to take pics - as I was looking at the camera the screen was dark and lit up when I took the pic, I convinced myself I was going to see some creature or something ready to jump out on us - I really should never have watched The Descent :rotfl:
In the end I had to rush out of there, I got myself so worked up when it started to get narrower, my heart was racing and I felt awful, such a weird feeling! I think I would have been ok if there were others with us, but it was just me and the OH and he's not the most sympathetic, more likely to prat around and try and scare me more!

Well, hope everyone has a lovely day, I am off to admire my little window garden! :rotfl:
