"bare" instead of "bare" Yeah, that's dreadful :p.

Ironic, it may be, but there are quite a few regular posters on this thread who say "could of", "should of", and "would of" instead of "could have", "should have", and "would have".

I've also seen "brought" instead of "bought" quite a lot, too.

Worst of the lot is "loose" instead of "lose".

    Drives me nuts.

Edit: I see some others beat me to it. Sorry, was a few pages back; now caught up. :D

Sorry i am probably on this list  i do try :D

Blimey, should be a SSM tip - let your husband know you are awake and want a cup of tea without getting out of bed by posting on MSE :D

Its the land issues, movement! Would cost £30k before started to built with surveys etc and logistically a nightmare. Imagine if you can our house. Front door is road level, but is our upstairs. The only way down to main floor is via 42 steps. Getting any building stuff down would be a cost in itself. We looked into it a few years ago. The surveys take a year minimum to measure movement. Its also a conservation area and UNESCO site ( coalbrookdale ) planning is extra strict.
:) nearer to me when I rarely get to Telford :T

no sorry, just currently at half price in T's. Had to go in yesterday after work, it had been one of those days where felt like smashing my computer against the wall, so needed chocolate. I have plenty of Hotel Chocolat at home but that is my eat slowly and enjoy choc, too nice and expensive to scoff when i'm wanting choc. :)
