My night out was a complete and utter disaster!I was well enough to go but I so wish I hadn't bothered! Kadison how was your night out with the girls? Did you manage to go?

Thought I would share pics of the Easter nest I made. This is the 2nd go, I think the first ones were better!I think I added too much butter so it was too gooey and sticky but it did set in the end and hold it's shape (for now atleast!!) and I had more sweets on the last ones....while I still had smarties and cadbury snow bites....don't know where the others could have possibly disappeared to
:o:o:rotfl:
Anyway you get the idea
And all wrapped up'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Thanks to girl with no name (no, really!)
Thank you!!! I currently use glasses direct but I have been worrying that my CYL will go over 4.00, and I won't be able to buy from them, but this place can be my fall-back, cheers!
Just a shame they don't do graduated tint or polarised......I know! The worst one is there, their and they're - SO many people get that wrong.I think a lot is to do with texting and a lot of words they only ever see as abbreviated or with numbers like l8r, when I was at school we had to write everything:eek:!
Only in the 80's , not that long ago!!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:"bare" instead of "bare" Yeah, that's dreadful.
Ironic, it may be, but there are quite a few regular posters on this thread who say "could of", "should of", and "would of" instead of "could have", "should have", and "would have".
I've also seen "brought" instead of "bought" quite a lot, too.
Worst of the lot is "loose" instead of "lose".
Drives me nuts.
Edit: I see some others beat me to it. Sorry, was a few pages back; now caught up.
*Is incredibly relieved she's not the only one who notices these things and gets annoyed by them*
For my part, I always notice people using apostrophes in plurals and keep noticing it in shops
One clanger which made me laugh loads was a b1tchy, horrible boss I had when I had just left college and was in my first office job, she was a secretary and you'd think that job would require a good level of English? Nope!
She wrote me a long letter detailing my faults (because god forbid she'd actually SPEAK to me, the snooty cow!), in which she wrote.....
"I have noticed several problems cropping up in your work recently, it's nothing pacific....." :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
