There could be some truth in this - the less we buy the less likely it is we'll find a glitch!

I am quite sad though I like to check my wombled receipts for dodgy discounts and let someone else pay the bill! :T

Forgot about you wombles, while you are around then I guess we do have less chance of missing things. ;)

    Night again!!

    Boo!
    Apparently i have been missed!
Just to let you know that i'm still here.

Moved to shropshire 3 weeks ago from our mahoosive 4 bed four bathroom house on an estate back to the house we owned and rented out that is a two stroke three bed and one bathroom. If i had smilies, id use the blue raised hair one!

Its a squash but needs a lot of work as it is very old and has suffered from careless tennants etc.

On the plus side, we have gone from a garden tat got cramped when i put the rotary washing line up to two acres with a brook and no neighbours too close. Whoop whoop.

So far i have rebuikt the septic tank, stripped walls of all plaster, we need lime based plaster and paint so damp is controlled. Fixed and stained more picket fence than i care to remember. Cleared guttering, fitted new guttering another cause of damp. Ive built 6 raised beds. Cost £4 each. Got old planks from a scaffolding company. Done my potatoes, parsnips and onions. Fixed panes in greenhouse and seeded peas and beans. Built a wall down 42 steps that lead to our back door, still in progress, our front door is upstairs as house is built into the hill so hence steps to back door!

Im getting there but theres only so much a girl can do!!! OH working hard, children all loving schools and cat has had 5 kittens.

Did pop on a few weeks ago to hastle miss laid for bread pdf. Other than that, there arent enough hours in the day!

Hope everyone is ok. Sorry i didnt have time to catch up with tinyshoes but only got my car back the day before we moved.

I feel exhausted just reading that! Welcome back!!!!

Well done:T:T:T, great haul. Glad to see that some T's are still good for whoopsies. Along with the voucher issue at my local Extra I overheard a SA moaning last week that they had all been in trouble for reducing too early (at 7.30/8ish) and by too much. So this week they have not reduced until after 9 and then only a max of 50% off. I am hoping it is to put off some of the 'grabbers' and when they get into trouble for too much waste they will revert back. Just as well I have a freezer full that were at the right price :D

Evening all, my mum just got her PPI reclaim money into her bank account today - over £5,000 :) I'm so pleased for her. She's also just put in for one on her CC and is hoping for a few grand there too!
I think that's why she took me to Sainsbobs tonight where we spotted own brand kettles and 4 slice toasters for £14.99 each for blue or white and £19.99 for red ones. Available on-line too at these prices

she's using the money to pay off a few bills and will still have most of it left so she's going to buy some new furniture she really needs.

    Well good night all

I can think of many, many examples of what drives me nuts, but if we were all perfect, life would be rather mundane and boring :rotfl::rotfl:

So true, but it still drives me nuts. Why? Here's one reason why.

One of my DD's teachers used to send reports home with 'could of', 'should of', 'loose', etc in them. Eventually, I lost it and had a real row with the Head after she corrected my DD's homework from the correct phrase to the wrong one.:eek:
