I know! The worst one is there, their and they're - SO many people get that wrong.I think a lot is to do with texting and a lot of words they only ever see as abbreviated or with numbers like l8r, when I was at school we had to write everything:eek:!

Boo!
Apparently i have been missed!
Just to let you know that i'm still here.
Moved to shropshire 3 weeks ago from our mahoosive 4 bed four bathroom house on an estate back to the house we owned and rented out that is a two stroke three bed and one bathroom. If i had smilies, id use the blue raised hair one!
Its a squash but needs a lot of work as it is very old and has suffered from careless tennants etc.
On the plus side, we have gone from a garden tat got cramped when i put the rotary washing line up to two acres with a brook and no neighbours too close. Whoop whoop.
So far i have rebuikt the septic tank, stripped walls of all plaster, we need lime based plaster and paint so damp is controlled. Fixed and stained more picket fence than i care to remember. Cleared guttering, fitted new guttering another cause of damp. Ive built 6 raised beds. Cost £4 each. Got old planks from a scaffolding company. Done my potatoes, parsnips and onions. Fixed panes in greenhouse and seeded peas and beans. Built a wall down 42 steps that lead to our back door, still in progress, our front door is upstairs as house is built into the hill so hence steps to back door!
Im getting there but theres only so much a girl can do!!! OH working hard, children all loving schools and cat has had 5 kittens.
Did pop on a few weeks ago to hastle miss laid for bread pdf. Other than that, there arent enough hours in the day!
Hope everyone is ok. Sorry i didnt have time to catch up with tinyshoes but only got my car back the day before we moved.

The one that annoys me the most is 'brought' instead of 'bought' :mad:Handle every stressful situation like a dog.

Ironic, it may be, but there are quite a few regular posters on this thread who say "could of", "should of", and "would of" instead of "could have", "should have", and "would have".
I've also seen "brought" instead of "bought" quite a lot, too.
Worst of the lot is "loose" instead of "lose".
Drives me nuts.
Edit: I see some others beat me to it. Sorry, was a few pages back; now caught up.Last ciggie - 28/01/2012

did a few multiquotes and they all seem to have disappeared, no idea how i've managed that
evening all!
right where do i start?
FK-love your post about the coupon abuse, I'm so glad you brought it up, I had several PM's as well about unilever and how to get myself several facebook accounts. I have to say I am too chicken-I am sure someone got caught doing this, what do you guys think?ok, i must be sleepy. just eaten a whole box of elizabeth shaw mint crisp chocs before realising. why do i always want choc when tired?
is there a glitch on elizabeth shaws??? 1p?????
izzeyb hugs to you, what an awful experience, I would have been so traumatised! I was severely trouted in one of your locals today I was visiting, would be interesting to knwo if it was the same one-basically spotted an OOD SEL for finish tabs -bought 10, took them to basket till with couple of bits, walked to end and started packing and told her there were 10 finish, discount didn't come off, when i went to CS she checked the receipt and it looks as though i picked up one lemon-which aren't on offer anyway and put them through as 10*lemon, manager called and took me to the aisle and grilled me on why i had picked up a lemon (not my fault they had been mixed up-i didn't think i needed to check each packet i just grabbed 10 from behind the relevant sel) i told him i didn't pass the lemon one specifically to the SA anyway she took it out of the basket herself and herself decided to scan *10 not indivdually.
Anywa they refused DTD, I phoned HO who initially said i could have DTD then when I put the CS on changed their minds and said
because I had said there are 10 of those it was my fault the cashier had made the error!!!! Further embarrassment!!!!I was fuming. They gave me JTD anyway and I stormed out!
Unfortunately she forgot to mark the receipt in the process;);)
Feel an email to HO coming on:D:A
Plenty of MSE'ers your end now anyway, 2 stores I went to seem to have been cleared of all goodies:(:(:(:( there was one store traditionally could guarantee would get something-nada:mad::mad::(:(
right i'm shattered, MIL come to stay so i'm going to behave myself and no more T's for me for a while (famous last words:rotfl:)
ps my sis got trouted in WHSmith, told by several SA's conflabbing that the greetings card deal was over-think they may have thought she was me, looks just like me, anyone got this deal today to confirm this is a fib pls?GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Basic grammar and spelling errors drive me up the wall, along the ceiling and then back down the other wall again
I can think of many, many examples of what drives me nuts, but if we were all perfect, life would be rather mundane and boring :rotfl::rotfl:

They opened one 2 minutes from me last year. It's awesome!
Make the most of the whoopsies in the early days. They won't know what stock levels they need and so they'll likely overstock on just about everything. I got some cracking whoopsies every single night for 2 monthsApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
