Boo!
Apparently i have been missed!
Just to let you know that i'm still here.
Moved to shropshire 3 weeks ago from our mahoosive 4 bed four bathroom house on an estate back to the house we owned and rented out that is a two stroke three bed and one bathroom. If i had smilies, id use the blue raised hair one!
Its a squash but needs a lot of work as it is very old and has suffered from careless tennants etc.
On the plus side, we have gone from a garden tat got cramped when i put the rotary washing line up to two acres with a brook and no neighbours too close. Whoop whoop.
So far i have rebuikt the septic tank, stripped walls of all plaster, we need lime based plaster and paint so damp is controlled. Fixed and stained more picket fence than i care to remember. Cleared guttering, fitted new guttering another cause of damp. Ive built 6 raised beds. Cost £4 each. Got old planks from a scaffolding company. Done my potatoes, parsnips and onions. Fixed panes in greenhouse and seeded peas and beans. Built a wall down 42 steps that lead to our back door, still in progress, our front door is upstairs as house is built into the hill so hence steps to back door!
Im getting there but theres only so much a girl can do!!! OH working hard, children all loving schools and cat has had 5 kittens.
Did pop on a few weeks ago to hastle miss laid for bread pdf. Other than that, there arent enough hours in the day!
Hope everyone is ok. Sorry i didnt have time to catch up with tinyshoes but only got my car back the day before we moved.
Hi.
Yes you have been missed. So glad you are settling in ok. I did assume your car was the reason you must have been tearing your hair out that week. Will send you a PM when I have a bit more time, I'm sure we can arrange something to get the candy canes to your boys party bags.
Got a good DTD other day, I'm sure if you had still been here would have been long gone. :rotfl:0 -

You can use the £5 off a £40 spend if the 10% are off certain things ie catfood you can use those too so long as you buy the item, just hand over the £5 off £40 coupon first0 -
I leave it to rise then re-knead and divide into 4 balls I freeze 2 and roll out and use 2
I just use natural yogurt, flour ( gluten free for me) and a pinch of salt. works a treat and no kneading required. Just oil a good non- stick tray so it doesn't stick.Hope is not a strategy.0 -
FK - My guess is 63p just because of the 2 crunchies I think you needed the both of those to keep you in the plus:oI love to help people by sharing my bargains:o0

my youngest brother has just asked me if he can have money for easter instead of an egg, obviously doesn't realize i got all my eggs cheap already to hand out
Lol, had to laugh when I read this, my DS2 said the same to me I said ok I will give you the money that the egg cost - £1.00:rotfl:
Don't worry he has got several eggs as well:)If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -
It's pretty obvious that there are users on there who check this forum and I fear that who you are and what you are doing will come to light and then what have you achieved?
I just think that in trying to make their site look unwelcoming and unfriendly you are making our site look petty and childish.
In my opinion they do a good enough job of making their site unwelcome. I say leave them to it without giving them valid reason to have a go at us
(PS I dont want to go the way of tricia and calmspirit and have this go back and forth between us, take up the whole thread and then end up with us both leaving the site so this post is my last word on the matter. You can say whatever you want in reply, do whatever you want on HUKD, I just want anyone on HUKD who checks this thread to know that some of us don't approve of what you are doing)
Point taken aboard.
If you want to discuss this further then PM me.
p.s. I would never leave this site. i've put it as a hobby and interest on my CV. :rotfl::grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

I tend to be more traditional in my cooking using yeast 00 flour and semolina flour which needs a good kneading, but whatever works for you0
