hey guys I also had problems with this company, they didn't deliver order on time, they didn't inform me about the delay and problems with stock. Before placing an order I phoned them and asked if they have this item in stock and they confirmed that, but didn't ship it within two weeks when they had it in stock and then it was out of stock and so on so on.....but I managed to get a refund out of them quickly.

First I cancelled my order and requested a refund following their website procedure, in a few hours after that I emailed these guys with the following letter

bslater@waeplus.com
dcresswell@waeplus.com
info@waeplus.com
management@weaplus.com

"Order number #(my order number and item name)

I ordered the above item on the 13th of March 2012 and the money was charged immediately to my credit card.

After waiting for several weeks with no dispatch notice, no messages about the delay, empty promises from telephone customer support and overall failure to complete order in the agreed time frame I decided to cancel my order and purchase elsewhere and request an immediate full refund in the amount of £297.28.

I already cancelled my order and requested a refund following the procedure on waeplus website.
Since my order status didn't change after that and I didn't receive cancellation confirmation I decided to contact you.
I will also send this email to the above listed company officials: (Names and emails of ppl I mentioned above)

Gift vouchers or credit notes are of no interest to me, only a refund.

Please acknowledge this e-mail within 24 hours with confirmation that a refund has been made.

Kind regards,"

and in a few hours after that I sent a message to Darren Cresswell on facebook
"Hi Darren,
I emailed you on waeplus, please check your email"

And finally I sent one more message on facebook to waeplus
, which is almost identical to the one I sent before, the only difference is that in this one I added a threat to call my bank and file a complaint with trading standards. And only after this message status of my order changed online, I think it was about six when I sent it and noticed change in status at about 9pm or 10pm

"Hi,
The following email was also sent to

bslater@waeplus.com
dcresswell@waeplus.com

If nothing will be done about this issue by 28th of March 2013 by 2.30pm I'll call my bank to request a chargeback and file a complaint with trading standards.
Regards,

Happy ending, I checked my account at 2pm today and I got my money back.
NEVER NEVER USE THIS RETAILER!!!

Have received an email from Birmingham Trading Standards.... They are investigating my complaint.

Send your complaints to Mike.Gutowski@birmingham.gov.uk, the more they see the more reason they will have to shut them down, or prosecute and fine them

It took Trading Standards 3 months just to respond, but I believe anyone who's has been mistreated by WAE+ should be heard.

The investigation may also support any credit card or bank chargebacks, anyone may need to make.

Trading Standards direct email Mike.Gutowski@birmingham.gov.uk

Best of luck everyone.

Hahahaha what buffoons. So UPS "fails to deliver" the item (without them notifying of shipment or providing delivery IDs' mind you) and then they ask YOU to shell out additional money for the delivery, rather than asking UPS?

Those clowns have no shame.

Vipul was the customer service agent who actively ridiculed me with other colleagues at WAE+

He seems to be the only one who actions returns, responders to management emails.

The above notifications seem to be another method of extorting payment details from customers, along with money....glasgowsaver2011 have they offered any proof/evidence of any of the delivery attempts?

You can also contact UPS directly...sear ceo email in google and nice on site search UPS...they are really good, and do not support this unprofessional company.

I have emailed time and again and have been told that a refund will be processed.

I have requested a chargeback from the bank also.

Shocking that a company like this can continue to act with impunity

Stay on it, they just want you to give up, then money is theirs.

They are a vile, group of individuals hiding behind a limited company title...I have also filed grievance with Companies House.

They're clearly have financial issues, and will eventually sink, get caught out.

Dear

Please accept our deepest and sincere apologies with regards to your refund as you were not happy with the service we provided.

I can now confirm you have been refunded in full and we can now close your investigation.

Your refund has been processed today and will be credited back to the debit card originally used. This will show in your account within the next 3-5 working days depending on who you bank with.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our regrets and to assure you that we will do our best to avoid a repeat of what happened.

We really do value our customers and your custom and look forward to continuing our relationship in the near future.

Thank you for your kind understanding.

Yours sincerely,

Gary Prestell
Complaints Controller

I will believe it when I see it!
• Refund in my account today from wae electricals.......
• Ordered on 26th March. Money taken from my account immediately. 4-6 days delivery reported and item "In Stock". As of 16th of April, still showing as "Awaiting Fulfillment", still haven't received the order and no estimate provided via e-mail or phone help line. Repeated excuses about classic "item on the way but delayed at the european warehouse". The item still shows as "In Stock" throughout the whole period, even though it clearly is NOT.

Customer service is non existent and completely useless messenger in India of whatever you can get from website anyway, e-mails are not answered, phone help line not providing any concrete answers or direct contacts to responsible persons or their superiors. 1hr waiting times or usually even cancelled calls ("we're experiencing high volume of calls"). Employees do not know basic UK distant selling laws.

Don't get fooled by significantly lower prices and reasonable delivery times. They can't provide, they can't deliver, they're totally unprofessional and should not be allowed to trade under such circumstances. Shocking to witness in the era of Amazon, Play.com, etc.

Reported to Trading Standards and Customer Service working groups. Appropriate bad reviews submitted. Order cancelled. Credit card transaction currently investigated by HSBC as a dispute.

Very much hope they'll cease trading - only way to protect potential customers.

AVOID!!!
