Laidbackguy - please try calling Customer Services. I just phoned them - the knives ARE definitely in stock - I ordered a set over the phone (debit card) and they will be with me within a few days.

Hi m, just rang them the guy explained that they had none of these and this was a mistake on the website to still show them as being available..... just be carefull..

Shouldn't be a problem if you pay by Credit card.
If they DO debit the account and don't deliver then you can do a chargeback.

This is yet ANOTHER confusing fiasco with Readers Digest!!

Have ordered from them before with no problems whatsoever but this time the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing if they are NOT in stock , haven't been for ages , yet are still showing as in stock on the website?

Plus someone has been told they ARE in stock , yet lbg has been told they are NOT in stock & they have no idea when they will be

With the whole Noddy books problem as well I am losing faith in Readers Digest BY THE MINUTE and will be VERY pleasantly surprised if a whole set of Noddy books PLUS these lovely knives DO turn up

Hassle of returning items / chasing up for a refund if not

I wish I hadn't recommended them now........ UNLESS the knife fairy HAS been at work and magicked up a set for all of us? :D

( And the Noddy fairy is giving us the whole set?? )
