If you don't get any sense from this sales guy ask for the contact details of the Dealership Manager asap, followed by Tim Finn Chief Executive of Pendragon the franchisor.
Don't waste time as you start using the car in earnest yourself which may limit any claim/cause for rejection.
Was it brought on finance if so could you do anything through the fiance company, they may be unhappy at funding a car with 12% more mileage on it"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

quel surpise, nobody rang me back!
We have to go in tonight to pick up the spare key, so if he hasn't rang me by the end of the day, he'll wish he had.0 -

I agree with others. I would seriously be annoyed if a car I had brought had clocked up so much mileage in such a short space. As Strider says it's most likley been used as a run around or maybe even a courtesy car. In that case it mostly likely been thrashed about.
Don't get fobbed off by the dealership Ask them to explain first exactly how it has accumulated so much mileage in such a short space of time.
I think it is disgraceful of the dealership to use the car to such a extent once been sold.0 -

I am not surprised the manager did not phone. EH are (in)famous for their after sales service. :j"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I tried to buy a car from Evans Halshaw last week. I made over 20 different calls to various garages around the country and they didnt even have each car in stock. Either it was sold yesterday or 3 weeks ago yet they still advertising on Ebay classifieds.0
