Fab news on the mortgage. And...the right land package will come along ...and I'm looking forward to hearing about it!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

The sun is shinning!! Made the most of it and gave horsey a good groom this morning - he seriously thinks he's a hippo!!!
Back at work today and officially new job has started (not that anyone is in the office until Monday!) Looking forward to my pay rise now kicking in :)

Going to look at a yard on Sunday for the second time. Its not cheap but since I'm nearly at the end of my MF journey, I might consider it (its £100 more per month than where I am at the mo ) It has well cool facilicities - including a toilet :rotfl:
It will be the first thing I haven't scrimped on for years so feels weird that I will be able to spend the extra money and don't even have to feel guilty about it!! A glimpse into the future ;)

Hope all are well, Happy New Year

L-J, sorry about the land, but the new yard sounds positive. Does it have a flood lit manage? If so then it will be so worth the extra money. What about the other peeps there, from what I remember some horsey types can be a challenge (appreciate this is a generalisation), but it only takes the one!

    Good luck

    Thanks Arkers :)
Yeah the new place does have an indoor floodlit school and an outdoor one!! Also there are 4 of us who get a barn that we can share so never need be soaked through again!!

In terms of the other people, you are sooooo right!!! If it all comes off, I'll be sharing my 'bit' with 2 friends who I've known for a while now.
There is also 2 self contained yards there too - one that a showjumper is taking with his 6 horses and the other one the owner uses for her 8 horses - so in reality there are only 2 other 'liveries' there that I don't really know. Hopefully signing contracts on Sunday and I'm soooooo excited!!!
Need lots of finger crossing after my recent bad luck :D
